I think the things on the pillars would look neat with lights instead of the trim.

I believe Toggle makes it so the door can be controlled by a button - Click the button once and it opens, again and it shuts.

The little compass thing in the properties box will set your door direction.

It needs to be an .ol file to go in here, if its just an RMF prefab or the like, you have to open it and make it a prefab using the system.

I think trigger_teleport has an option for playing a sound. Try setting it to not play that.

A program that opens them hmmm well you can use Vmex to convert .tga to vtf but i'm not sure about the other way round.
Er, vTEX. Vmex is a decompiler.

Nah, all it's saying is that it's found a " mark and it recognizes that as an EOF, when it really needs some closing characters instead.

Gman pops up in C17 in an elevator at some point, on a TV - But you can't really recognize the boat or crow. I guess the designer just added it as a pirate-gman reference ;P

That shouldn't fix it at all. That only fixes the FGD problem.

Try having a logic_auto toggle an ambient_generic, volume 1, in a little box somewhere at teh start of the map, then toggle it off. Should solve precaching it.

Yeah, just extract with the GCFScape utility and keeping the same directory structure, drop in HL2's or whatnot content system. Then BSPZip or include with a mod.

I'd say it's slightly outdated for HL2, too, Ragdoll bodies are the way to go. Or static ones in poses. I don't think HL2 models have static death poses.

Good idea for HL1, though.

I kind of like the yellow. It's more of the color that would be from a bulb lamp, though. Something white or blue would work better.

An improvement though.

Don't like the caution stripes, lightage, or the door at the end, as mentioned. Last part's easy - give it some offset from the wall.

Lighting needs more contrast, as well. Remove the lights that are yellow, make hanging ones, and reddify the ceiling.

Caution tape can just be trim.

And perhaps some accent floor lights on the metal bits along the metal path would work.
