The Arcan is a wigger who desperately want to be acknowledged as black for life, and he is failing miserably. In failing, he attempts to come off as intelligent, but he's failing miserably at that too.

I still don't see where I said anything about homosexuality or if they should be discriminated against. "Man-sex, woohooo" doesn't seem to discriminatory to me.

When did I ever say anything about homosexuality or if they should be discriminated against?

Indeed, man-love was more accepted back in ancient Greece and such, but the catholic church pretty much made sweet sodomy sin when they had their rule over Europe.

The .lin file (or .pts) is a pointfile. To load it, just open your map in hammer and go to map -> load pointfile, then browse to the .pts or .lin file (they're in the half-life/valve/maps directory). When you load it, a lot of red and blue lines should appear all over the place - look for the point where the red line goes through the outer wall of the map. That area is usually in the vicinity of the leak. Pointfiling can be very confusing if you have a big map, but it usually helps a lot.

I'm all for discussions and debate, but remembrance and honouring? Meh.

Anyway, yeah, you can post about (nigh) anything on the forums, but everyone else is just as free to express their opinion about it and the thread itself, no? Ergo, no one is allowed to whine about anything, including whining, only they are, because it's an open forum.

I don't remember anyone posting a remembrance thread here, no. Some debates and shit, yes, but not really anything to honour the dead. Just doesn't seem to fit well on an international forum. What's the point, anyway? Honouring would mean throw a parade or wear a button on your jacket, not to create threads that no one should post in.

You don't win debates and this wasn't a debate so yeah, no. Regarding this thread and December 7, sure, let whoever they want make threads about whatever they want. I mean, no one has more or less "right" to celebrate days or honour memories or whatever. This is an open forum. It's interesting to think what the reactions would've been if it were a small European country's holiday, though.

Well, it's got a lot to do with social, societal norms. For instance, there've been people who've sacrificed a lot of humans to their Gods, because they thought it'd appease them. They thought they were doing the right thing. The sacrificed probably didn't, but the societal norm was that it was a good thing to do.
Perhaps the journal intrusions would be an example.
Thankfully the internets, and least of all twhl, isn't a democracy. :)

38_98's got the right idea.
Moral rights or wrongs are individual. Hitler thought he was doing the right thing. There's no universal rule to say who's right or wrong when doing things, everything is relative to the individual's perception. This strayed a bit, though.
