The point i was getting at was that you can't compare an FPS like Half-Life or Portal to a game like GOW3.
You can't compare God of War to anything Valve does by a longshot.
The engine is NOT 10 years old, it 5 and a half. The 2-3 years people mention are since the UPGRADE. The improvements they make are FAR greater than you seem to understand.
Episode 3 is expected to be the big boss of the storyline, so no doubt they're going to crank out something special for it. Which is why Portal 2 is coming first. New content, more anticipation for EP3. I'm sure EP3 will be out by the end of 2011.
And I'm sure it will be amazing.

IMO, FPS are USUALLY they only games that are BETTER on PC. Games like Dante's Inferno, Mass Effect 1/2, Fable 2, etc. are much better on 360.

If I had the money for PC version I'd definitely play it. But I do have a lot of friends on 360 that play it, so it made it easier to ask for them to find the one in the green box since they were shopping in that area anyway.

Basically though, I've only heard that storyline gameplay sucks, but I also believe it has a hugely versatile level editor, does it not? Make something better you whiney bitches.
Actually there is enough new material in the game to make it pretty worth it. 3x as many weapons, a defibrillator, adrenaline pills, a new game mode, 3+ new boss infected, all new characters with their own personalities, 5 new campaigns. Also, the Deagle is making its appearance in this game too. Plus all the behind-the-scenes tweaks that you don't know about that will generally make the game much more enjoyable.
Also, the EP2 Gnome is making an appearance in the Carnival level, you can play the carnival games, and in the shooting game, if you get 750 pts, you win the gnome. Valve hinted at gnome-related achievements again.
Tl;dr: This game will be major win, I personally will be getting it.

I agree that they should be all Valve themed, and of course some bonus ones just to use for awesomeness. Particularly since we're missing one of the most vital half-life "units" in our smiley list... the headcrap.

Then you should get your hands on the full album, it's awesomeI did, right away, and it was amazing. They do SLIGHTLY over-do the classical thing on some songs. But not too bad.
The cable could still work, you only have to make the ladder for the full extent you need it for. If the player goes any higher he obviously falls off...

I saw Halloween 2 in the theater last Friday. Not much to say about it. I didn't really even care to go see it, but my girl did. It's better suited to be a friday-night at home movie that you rent cheap. I don't think it was worth the $8 tickets.

As far as the original post goes, there is no "curbing" of freedom of speech. First off, this isn't even an American based site, and many of the admins are not American. Secondly, there are rules and standards, and as far most rule makers anywhere are concerned, you either follow them or you go. Just like a school, or any other building, a website owner sets his or her own guidelines and expects users follow them. Any place else would do the same.
