Don't use goto.
Ever.
Especially when you're still learning :/
You should attend a class on programming and C++ instead of doing everything the wrong way like you are now.

Uhh, Imageshack doesn't resize or change the quality of any image under 1.5mb unless you tell it to. So it's not Imageshack's fault that the quality is bad. It's pretty much the best image upload site around.

Good C++ requires the main function to return an int. It is outright bad practice to have a main function return a void.

According to the ever-reliable Ant, Mass effect for PC is super buggy.

Most companies don't spent time porting, and so there's tons shitty ports. It's usually better to get the game on the console it was originally made for.

This looks like a standard floating point rounding error, but I can't be 100% sure. Try keeping your measurements so that every point has its decimal value as a power of two - this means try to set up your points and your scale factor so that you have decimal values such as 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 1/16, etc. This would likely solve any floating point errors. Try that, and if it's still broken, please report back.

in The Nifty Titles Thread Post #262496
All users with tutorials and competition winners have had custom titles enabled (I hope).

To use your title, just edit your profile and fill in the appropriate field. Then make sure you check the box underneath the textbox, which will make the title show up in the forums.

As stated before, some warnings:
  • Because I'm lazy etc, custom titles that stretch more than two lines overlap the bottom of the forums page sometimes, so make sure your title is only one line, when displayed in the forums.
  • No inappropriate titles. If you use an inappropriate title, or one with more than one line, you will receive a warning, and, if you continue to use it, you will get your title privileges removed, at the least, and a temporary ban will likely follow.
  • Inappropriate titles include (but are not limited to):
  • Anything with swear words (although 'lighter' swear words like "ass", "damn", "crap" are allowed)
  • Anything racist, sexist, or otherwise discriminatory towards anyone
  • Anything that the moderators think is not appropriate. Use your head - if you think it might not be appropriate, it probably isn't!

It renders fine in Safari for Windows, so it's probably a bug in the iPhone version.

Edit: Looking at the screenshot, it's probably because the scaling is off. It's scaled the text up without scaling the width of the page, so the "Check out...etc" text is pushing the header image down.

You're completely wrong. Local hard drives will always be a very important part of the personal computer. To think otherwise is ignorant.

Unless some massive internet revolution happens, and everyone in the world gets super-speed internet, Google buys an entire continent of servers, and it suddenly gets massively more secure than it currently is. And I don't see that happening any time in the near (or far) future.

And then what elof said.

Same as srry with the Gameboy Colour - that's all I had for a long time. Well, I had a Sega Master System, but the only decent game on that was the original Sonic the Hedgehog! I could never get very far, but my sister actually managed to finish it. (I did later but I cheated with and emulator with saves >_>)

But yeah I had Pokemon blue, and then Gold. Oh they were so very excellent. I didn't get into the Zeldas until the "Oracle" series for the GBC, but I was a fan after that.

Someone introduced me to the GBA and Advance Wars when I was in grade 8 or 9, and I had both not long after that (Advance Wars is a great series, btw)

Didn't get into PC gaming until grade 8, some of the first games I played included Half-Life, the quality of which stunned me.
Insert about 400 hours of counterstrike, and then enter TWHL.

So, yeah. Besides counterstrike, all the music of the games listed above make me feel all fuzzy inside.

just quickly add something that after 90 days from the last login date and you have no maps in the vault what so ever, it removes the account. all you really need to do is run this once to clean things up.

that'll remove all of those FreeViagra spam accounts
Uhh, what? This is about maps in the vault that were rated tons of times by their author before multi-voting was disabled in TWHL. I deleted the spam accounts aeons ago, and the register page now has a text CAPTCHA to stop more spam accounts from coming in.

(You can see an example CAPTCHA on the contact us page.)
