If you run a batch compiler, you will see that it has not frozen, but is still working as the percent bars will move. But in hammer, if locks up the compile window for some reason. Anyway, people who use Hammer to compile are either noobs, idiots or the uninformed.

I have Doom3 and I am now making a mod for it when the SDK is released. Only mapping for it atm.
There is going to be a version of qeradiant for doom3 soon I believe.

Licking Cock ahem Linkin Park are a crappy manafactured band. Their songs are bland and repetitive with identical songs. They try and make themselves sound like metal and fail miserably attracting only mainstream fans who are usually 12yr old townies. They walk around with baggy trousers and slipknot or linkin park hoodies and say that they are metallers or skaters. Bullshit. In conclusion, Linkin Park, Slipknot, Marilyn Manson and many others are huge pieces of bullshit floating in townie waters. And all real bands such as Metallica (anything pre Black Album as the only decent record after that was Garage Inc), Pantera or any other metal band that doesnt fall into the townie category simply kicks the fuck out of Linkin Park/Slipknot.
I feel like insulting Jahzel's favorite bands. Jahzel prefers to listen to obscure and unknown bands involving a couple of black people, a gay trumpet or 2, an idiot playing the guitar in such a way that it should be known as repetitive guitar abuse, and a gay black guy singing like he is screeching and breathing a light amount of helium. As for Led Zepplin, they are old fags. They are a cross between Jahzel's lame taste and rock. With the helium singing and repetitive guitars which never change tune. Real old skool metal is bands like black sabbath.

I am working on tons of secret maps, a game engine, a doom3 mod, 2 websites, a forums engine. Life gear is another mod by a TWHL member that requires lots of coding and will never be finished. Probably the same with this one. So just GIVE UP ALREADY with your noob mods.

I haven't seen an SDK around yet. Check ID Software's site or a Doom3 modding site. I will need an SDK soon for Isotope (now converted to Doom3), so if you find anything, tell me.

Strange, my system runs it perfectly with no problems/crashes/slowdowns. MAybe your machine is sucky. Things I hate:

Far Cry rocks. People who say they have bugs probably have crap computers. If you have anything less than a 9800pro then you are wasting your time with far cry. Anyone with the nvidia fx series are also wasting their time cos the fx series sucks at directx9 games. It worked fine for me out of the box. Then again, I have the best pc of any TWHL member so thats probably why.

The best way to play Doom 3: on my machine (check the twhl session thread) with a 22" screen with 500watts of speaker power and the lights off.

Personally, I like Natural Selection and Science & Industry.
And some of the architecture is ugly. I could make better architecture in 10 minutes. But some of the hl recreations (such as the little tram tunnel section copied from the hl intro) are very well copied. And the layout is nice and confusing.
No one forces you to use steam. I like steam as I couldnt even play hl with WON as it kept disconnecting me and timing out. I never have problems with steam tbh. Plus, it doesnt ruin your HL installation. It merely caches it. But your original installation is untouched and intact.

Make the whole site a table and center it, then have a black bg color. That way it wont be stuck to the left with tiling images which just looks plain ugly.
