Disagree. Someone with the deisre to acend/decend to that level, would know about it, by reading about it, not asking generic, nonspecific quesitions like: how do I use this...

I'm not trying to be a jerk here. It's just the way it is.

Um, I've never seen an "Arnold" movie where your watching a three-pronged whip, with each having a metal claw--like a fish hook actually-- on the end being whippied onto someone's back, and not to mention the flesh and blood that rip off because the "claws" have to be forcably pulled out by the administrator.

And all of this to the Benny Hill theme song.

I fail to see how you can fail to see the difference.

Just STFU ZombieLoffe. Maybe you're autistic!?

And to answer your question Habboi, no, I don't consider myself a believer...

Shocking nonetheless.

Muzzies Aliz?e, and SpaG's christmas AVs win in my book.

She is damn sexy and the tattoo of the Santa hat is pure pwn.

Now if someone had a Christmas Christina model AV, that might just pwn the universe... Of course you'd have to put the Christmas hats on her gigantic Breastages... lol

Bratteh: What resoloution are you running at?

I know somebody has mentioned this before, but is the widescreen coming? At 1920?1200 I can nearly fit three TWHLs on my screen.

It actually looks good when somebody posts an extra wide picture...

Also I agree that most--mine too--are too big, but the reduced sized AVs are completely too small.

in Textures don't line up Post #150186
The way I do it is pretty easy, and always works.

Whatever texture it is, take a look at the size of it. "{ladder3b" under the texture browser says it's 32?32.

Make a brush face, with the length and width sized just that.

Click the face properties button, then click the brush face you've just created, and click "fit".

Now it's scaled perfectly; Adjust the height to your pleasure.

Sometimes the texture will be cocked 90?, so if that happens, just bugger with the rotation--also under face properties--as necessary.

That would be a cool new holiday for the Hallmark Corp. to create:

Buy Yourself Something Really Expensive Day!

BYSRED Day for short :P

Mephs: I agree. But I think it's worth putting up with, to enjoy all the other benefits of the holiday, and no, I certainly don't mean the birth of Christ!

I really like the lights, christmas trees, and other decorations, as well that cheezy retail store muzak...

It would be easier if we had an idea what the hill is going to look like, and for the path as well--straight over, looped around, what?

Off the cuff I would say clip the hill in to pieces where the path should be, and then fill it in. Trapt would prolly have a better answer for this, considering the vm that will mostl likely be invloved...

Check out his Glass! compo map, which should help you draw some inspiration for this.

edit: Whoops, didn't read previous thread, not realize this was for source... so my advice most likely doesn't apply to your problem. Sorry!

Angry: Hey if it reduced your wpolys, what the heck, go with it!

It seems like an idea to me, and I can't think of any negative effects that might result from it.

One way to check it it's necessary/beneficial, is to make your map, and then noclip out to see what's drawn and what isn't.

Then redo the map with your null everything method, and noclip again to check again to see what's drawn.

The method with the least rendered unusable stuff gets the prize! :)

@Ace: Really awsome stuff, but a bit expensive for my taste. That last link--g36k-- is pwn! Check out the weird drum magazine on this real one, in a pic I found.

DoucheD: I think it's you who doesn't understand. The Americans at this site are tired of--at least I know I am--the indiscriminate attacks on our country, our president, and our politics. We get it. We know exactly what you think of us and guess what?

We're really tired of hearing it.

I've posted some outrageous stuff on here lately and in the past, but it's nearly always in reaction to U.S./Right/President Bush bashing of some sort.

If you want to discuss your own opinion of Americans, start your own damn thread.

in New map Im working on Post #149710
To draw some inspiration to spruce up your hallway--which already looks quite good--, I would recommend this map by Hugh, which has amazing fine detail work imo.

Helipad looks bland--no lights for night ops?-- and the textures look misaligned, though I don't know that for a fact.

I would recommend a more round design, with custom textures. Perhaps also, with a bit more style, like this one :P Sans tennis court 'course.

It's modeled after the Autobot jeep Hound.

There's lot's of stuff in that .rmf, so click on the visgroup called "hound" and click the "mark" button. Now it's selected. Then copy/paste to your map.
