Its probably unrelated, but a while ago I uninstalled HL1 and hammer (I say uninstalled, i mean formatted). Since then I've been getting MASSIVE lg where at one stage a 6mb map was bearable. I don't know the reason for it on my part, since I have LESS running than I did. Occasionally I get a swapspace problem I doubt you do elon. But my pennies worth...

Any kind of playable previews yet? even a boxed off part of a map would be nice (eg, whatever map your working on, make brick walls round it to run around that part) Screenies can never quite do it like in game can.

Well, to be honest I don't know EXACTLY what you need to do tbh (not that I'm of much help.). But I'm sure there still snippets of good coding stuff around. If not, look through the code untill you find something that looks like it might have something to do with it and google that (assuming you actually know c++).

Imagery is one thing that TWHL does lack. Only rabid even bothers putting images on the front page, which brightens it up nicely.

Hah, actually I've got the file access problems on occasion too. But I don't use through steam so it couldnt be a long path problem. I had put it down to the total bugginess of my computer.

That's all fine and well, but if I were to develop and drinking games while using it, I'd have to release that too. But I love the idea of open source outside of computers. I've often though that if I were to develop a cure for AIDS or something I'd have it open source.
