I understand what that's like. I spent like a whole day shopping for jeans that fit, because they're either to big around the waist or too short... god dammit. Everyone is so fat, it's unfair for us. :<!

Use this to work out download times, fellas.

Of course, you've got to work out which end is the limit ? if the server is on 2Mb, and there are four clients all on 1Mb, the server end will be the limit, being able to provide 0.5Mb/client at most. If it's on 4Mb and the client is on 56k, then it'll be that one client's end.

It's not really a server space issue, the PMs, it's more of a performance thing. I don't think our server box is particularly powerful (or else it's shared between quite a few sites), and searching through fifty-odd thousand messages (20 messages * 2500 members) for your messages could take a while. That is why there is an archive.

Dont judge our nation by our leaders. Politics is full of greed and corruption in any society.

Just show a little respect. A burning flag, to me, is a symbol of hatred.
I'm not referring to your nation as a whole. I'm well aware that there are a lot of people who disagree with how your country is behaving, as there are here. It's a political expression. I apologise if you thought it was directed at the entire population of the U.S.A.; I'd delete it and the replies, but then I'd be accused of censorship ;).

pepper: I don't want to agree with that, I must say. I do not consider Blair ? or the remenants of the Labour party, R.I.P. Robin Cook and Mo Mowlam ? to be representative of our damp nation.

jaardsi: hey, to be fair, it can do nice things too... just less often in today's world.

I don't agree that doctors have to be blunt to get the message across. This is an extremely sensitive matter, needless to say. So I approach the subject with the utmost sensitivity.
I'm sure you know best, especially with young kids.
"And I am worried about him because I know that kids who weigh too much have a much higher chance of getting diabetes in the future, and I don't want him to get diabetes ever."
How can anyone protest at an attitude like that? It brings tears to the eyes.

I'm sure I read that post this morning just before I left, though. Very strange.
