Yes, it could be a good idea. atom had done the same with the forums. Please post this in the Development News thread to remind me (or PM me) :) and it will be done in the near future.

By the way, don't let all my suggestions mislead you into thinking I'm not grateful... I'm very grateful. Thanks bud. ;o
Don't worry, I don't think that. Applies to other people with suggestions/comments too.

You've seen the full Mercutio? That has address books. Just that I wanted to get the update done in a fairly short space of time. The PMs don't have emoticon clicky-ness, either, and [quote] messes up a little (one of the few things I couldn't test on my own server).

Regarding the "Done" edit things, apparently it takes you back to the edit page after three seconds. Anyway, yes, it should take you back and will do. Development hasn't finished! :)

I will try some other colours for news stuff.

Elon: I think we'll have to have a vote on colours. Didn't you complain about the green before anyway? ;)

The orange is too bright, the yellow is weird, and the grey is what we had before, which made the title blur into the body.

Well, you could have a lot of triggers and timers and check that the player doesn't move through two of them in < n seconds, like a speed camera. Don't know about long-distance, though.

Yeha, 180x180 is stupid.

I think they're resized, or they might be cropped.

Anyway, the code's all done! Things for the next update (whenever that is; I'm gunna have a break for a bit :)):
Stop avatars being cached when they're being overwritten by new ones;

Reduce maximum avatar size to something sensible;

Delete files associated with comments when deleting the comments;

Random good map on front page (or map de la semana, etc.);

Latest award winner(s) on front (maybe);

Make PMs switch-off-except-for-mod-messages-able;

Better MV navigation (get by mod, etc.);

Sort out the MV submission and edit stuff with some tidy JS, and neatly enforce voting if in Completed;

Previewing;

Some kind of localised greeting on occasion would be pretty neat. See where the most people come from?
Any comments, suggestions, questions, or complaints? :)

I still maintain that it'd look much better wider than it is high. It'd make the "BL" look more important.

No, I don't mean that small, but, well, look at SpaG's last couple of posts. Look at G_KID's, indeed. Smaller, but certainly bigger than mine. It's the height that's a problem really, so I might reduce that more than the width.

It compiles quicker because VIS and RAD don't run. That's not the way to quick compile ? just turn off VIS and RAD when compiling.

I agree with you, G, that's why I haven't done any more :).

I'd add that if I added little award things by peoples' posts.

I think I'll cut down the maximum avatar sizes too, they're ridiculous. Must be murder for people on lower resolutions. Then I could fit this in.

PS: code is very nearly finished. The updating and testing will be on Wednesday at 0900GMT; TWHL'll be down for awhile while we check everything (and fix, if necessary, although it all seems fine).

If it did, try putting "maps c" in the console when you're in HL and seeing if yours is listed. If it's not, it must be in the wrong directory.
