one:: I had the problem too: Failed to load the launcher DLL.
What I did to solve it was that I went into the normal game, played a little went back to hammer and compile... and it worked :lol:

After you created a new mod using SDK a site show up, this one: http://www.valve-erc.com/srcsdk/MyFirstMod.htm

In the headline called 2) Open the MOD solution, it tells me to open Microsoft Visual C++ .NET 2003 v7.1. Is this a free program I got with Steam? or it a program I have to buy? if it is where to get it? :zonked:

Hey I have made a map like a gym in HL2:DM. I want to do so when you throw a ball (ball_01) into the goal(redteam) a light(bluelight_01) turns on. How to do this please? Also if you score more, more lights turn on.

When the player (you) walk in the aiscripted_sequence. The barney moves away from the aiscripted_sequence point, where he is going over to do the animating. Can you do so he dont move back to his "waiting" post, but just walk to you and wait to you move at right up in your face?

On my map. I got a barney to open a door for me. He can do it without any problems, my if i go on the aiscripted_sequence, he go back to his spot and just stand there.. if i then remove my self he walk over and opens the door. How to do so he dont goes bac to his spot, and wait.. ?

Can Valve Hammer Editor 3.5 only make maps to Half-Life and HL's mods... or can it example make maps to Quake 3?
