the ground is func_wall it seems -_-'
made a bloc under it:P now It will work I think, but how do I make a func_wall enitity brush into a normal brush again? do ia hev to delete and replace it or?

okay haha this time I really am confused, the other times I have asked about things where I knew what the porblem as generally or just a question about why somthing is done, but this time i have no idea why it happeds, Everyime I play the map now my weapon/arms etc. is shown black and every other player seems totaly balck, almost like a silluete, this only occures outdoors, and seemingly only ont he ground, not on top of boxes or while climbing a ladder,

anyone has any idea what I have fucked up this time?

PS: Sorry for bothering you with all these questions:S

Hello again:)

I'm making a map where CT will start with weapons, and the T's will not,
so I let there be weapons on the ground at the CT spawn place, it worked okay untill after I edited the map, suddently the CTs only 1/2 of the time could pick up the weapons on the floor (while T's could do it at any time)

So I now instead want to make a game player equip (which currently gives knifes to T's and CT's) to give M4A1 to the CT's only, I figured it would have somthing to do with the Team master, but I don't get what nummber/string I must type in there or inn the "game Master" to make it CT?

any ideas/suggestions?

Hello again, nope, never have, also I never have used it, can't even find it on mY pc and im 100% sure that I never ever loaded such wad into hammer:P

anyways PROBLEM SOLVED:

how? there was "bugged" ladder illusion which texture showed just black instead of the ladder illusion texture, anyways It seems it somehow bugged big time this time around and I had forgoten about it being there at all:S embarrassed anyway Deleted it and made a new one, and now everything works like a charm:)

well I think Atom got a point, you are basicly trying to make somthing hapening in order, based on seconds rigth?
so try to drow a Timeline/flowchart, addd everything to it,a nd see if you got gaps/overlaps? try to plan how it all will go on the paper then see "is this what I have made? or...did I skip 1second?"

My map now suddently crashes with the following error:
error: lightmap for texture too large [And then somthing like 27x27... )

I can't say I rember what i Changed in the map since last compile and test run of the map, but I have tried deleting what I think I added, and well no results:P
also I haev NOT added any ligths since last time:P

also I see this in the compile log:

added 10 additional animating textures.
Warning: ::FindTexture() texture NULL not found!
Are you sure you included zhlt.wad in your wadpath list?

I read on some other placces (google ftw) that it wsas the AAtrigger but I doubt it since I didnt hcange/add or do anything related to a AAtrigger during the changes I amde:P

any suggestions?

PS: going to delte half my map to try locate the error, then the othe half and then 1/4 etc. until I locate it...if I'm able to:P

Hello again!
I'm just wondering about one more thing, it's not a problem really it's more of a question, during my first maps, I had hell with finding leaks, the first ones even didn't have a skybox :P but later I started making a skybox, wherever it was needed, and well after a while I got tired of it and I just simply started makinga gigantic cube filling my whole map, adding sky textures, and then pressing "Hollow" 10 thickness.
done no leaks:P

and Now well I'm trying to use it a bit less than that way, but then I'm wondering is there any point to it? am I just for no reason assuming making 6 big walls/skyboxes clash together as a huge box around the entire map is a big no no? or is it a reason to take the trouble making it properly?:)
I'm thinking of anything really from Weird errors, long compile times to low FPS on the map:P

anyone knows? if you understood what I meant?;)

I must admit I have no real clue how to solve your problem but if I understand correctly, you got 2 sequences, after the first (1-4) it triggers the 2nd(5-7)? you say repeat, do you mean when you restart/retry sequence 1-4 again? or when you start on the 2nd sequence?

sorry for not providing any answer I'm just trying to help myself (and others?:P) understand what you are trying to do:)

Hello!
I'm using a few signs and doors with text on, in my map, my problem is:

I make a security door, I make the texture fit on the sides.
on one side, the texture is perfect, I can read the "SECURITY" text on the door, but on the other side, it's like it's seen in the mirror, and however I seem to rotate, and change it, it's still like it's mirrored.

anyone know how to solve this?
