Hmm, looks like a 'brush outside world' error to me...

check for any invalid solids

Look by the sofa at the TV on the left. That lightbeam is all i put in and i got it stretching out of the room, here is a pic of it in worldcraft 3d textured camera

delete the brush and remake, paying attention to any errors in 'check for problems'

I remade it and before compiling i did a check for problems and it found nothing. I went ingame and it was still like it was before, and the same error

You are using the compile tools designed for Quake, which are several years old and poorly coded. You should get Zoner's Half-Life Tools ("ZHLT") and use them instead; this error could well be fixed through doing this.

it'll take less time to start from scratch, than to try and fix them

stop creating a brush with invalid planes ffs! ;)
You're probably just vertex manipulating without realising how limited hammer/halflife are for brush complexity

No you're not ;)

Zoners and merls tools are prefixed with hl ie: hlcsg.exe, hlbsp.exe (ed: Andy)
