this is my map
it has compiled 10 hours
this not a big map , not sky-box , why it takes that long time ?

Big open spaces. The compile always takes long with big rooms.

Also, move the Texture group and the Visgroups to the right to increase the size of the grid windows and 3D window.

also, that's a point. What resolution are you running in?!
800 x 600?!?! Increase it!

if you have a lot of brushes as details, make them func_wall. I had tons of them in my map and it reduced VIS compile time from about 12 hours to about 2 minutes.

Have you tried running with fast VIS?

I pretty much run fast VIS on all but final compiles, and it seems to me to save lots of time...

2 hours is still WAY to long to wait imo ;)
