Senario: I set up a trigger_changelevel and info_landmark, but the trigger_changelevel still isn't working. Is it something like the info_landmark has to be in the same place on both levels, or what?

P.S. I'll take any questions asking wheather I've done this or that, or whatever. I don't get angry at those people, unlike some I know...

Yes, the info_landmark has to be the same, in both location and name, in both maps. The level change needs a point of reference.

Setup goes like this:

Map 1:

__

|1|    #2

--

Map 2:
         __

#2      |1 |

        ---
1 = trigger_changelevel
2 = info_landmark

Now it does'nt matter where they are located in each map, as long as the info_landmark is placed the exact number of grid units away from the trigger in each map.

Hard to explain.

Yes, well, I have a lot of problems. And I suck at mapping. I really shouldn't have even thought about that mod... And I enjoy seeing who responds.

Do i have to place the maps in certain folders for them to work? I keep getting the error: Can't find map2. (even though i opened map1 in half-life, not hammer AND all the settings should be correct)

Compiled maps have to go in the "Maps" folder.

"Valve/Maps." unless your making your own mod in which case its would be "your mod folder/maps"

And Please stop bumping threads from months ago. Start your own.
