I don't see the resemblance. It looks much more like some kind of messed up AK than that.

I'm not saying it looks like a really bad model, but if you could improve the POV and add some actual detail, then it would be a lot better. I think the Mk23 can be left as it is, but obviously with some real textures.

Its not the mini 14, its a famea FAS, with a few tweak of my own, to say so.

Im not planning to change a lot on the textures, i agree that there no the best, but i cant help that HL doesnt like costum weapons to much, probably need to scale it all a bit.

Muzz, i think i do have that pov.

And, the default weapon is viewed almost from its 6 o clock, contrary to mods like CS, wich have the weapom come in more tiled.

Well, if that's so, my only requests are that you fix the bulging block on the top to look how it's supposed to, and make that odd teardrop shaped switch protrude from the body. That would make a ton of difference.

I still say you should make some real textures for the Mk23 though. They're all flat and dull at the moment, and look completely temporary.

The Hostage models have been modified by Urbanebula to suit our needs.

Einstein has dreadlocks and no huge tash so that he can be Anders Friden

Luther's had a shave, and had his head rounded off so he can be the bald Howard Jones

I can provide the team with a new model entity: env_model. Usefull for props. Also allows you to play animations, and can also move with other moving entities, such as func_trains, func_doors, whatever.

Screw Kevin Lockitt. :/ I don't think he will ever reply to me, so ill start coding these new monsters asap.

I need the monster_hostage and the monster_1337terrorist models for testing... Are they done yet?

Edit: Monster_hostage entity is done, he behaves just like a normal scientist.

As for the monster_1337terrorist entity, this one is a bit harder.

not just re-skinning, my friend, oh no.
All new heads, high-resolution textures and slightly modified bodies, these are officially 'modelled' grunts.

And we agreed on Low-def models back in the first HS thread.

The monster_terrorists are in production. (oooh.. maybe use modded HD models for those? ponders)

Can I contribute some 2 cents into this project?

Muzz got the resources to do new fonts, loading icons, and a few other graphics. As well, i can do the console and loading image if you don't already have them done.

Mainly, do you guys want a new font for screen text?
