CS MAPING

I start with the noob question. When I do a func_train I have to put the first path_corner in the center of the func_train?

The expert question is. I want to put weapons empty of bullets. And then I want to know how to put bullet entities.

Noob question: No, it just starts wherever the first path_corner is.

So-called "expert" question: I'm pretty sure it's impossible to make your weapons empty on start, but I know there's no way to put ammo in, since as you might have noticed, CS doesn't allow you to pick up ammo like that...which is why there aren't any ammo entities.

But I've seen in map fun_matrix_final that when you start they teleport you to a white room around 2 seconds and they give you a weapon and bullets, I see the bullet box model in front of me and how my weapon bullets increase.

And CZ and CS are the same game (ok there aren't but for me yes), all maps you create for CZ can be played on CS, and all CS maps can be played on CZ because they use the same FGD. So CZ have ammo bullets because when you play CZ: Deleted Scenes (CZ for 1 player), you find bullets all arround the map.

Deleted Scenes has it's own FGD. At least I'm pretty sure, don't hold me too it. As far as spawing with no bullets, you could use a player_strip on spawn and then have the players spawn on top of armory entities with "0" in the quantity. Or something like that. Or it's impossible.

Not an expert question, because I understood it.

Well, I'm pretty sure you can spawn ammo, at least for Deleted Scenes, because they do, do it throughout the game, sorry though I doubt its even possible in CS or CZ. Also I think its also impossible to spawn a gun empty of ammo, theres a setting for when you spawn a gun using the entity with how much ammo you want the gun to have when picked up but If I remember right, theres no option for 0. :

Hey IP, no problem about having 0 ammo, I just want to choose the bullets that I want the weapon to have. I mean 10 bullets or something like that. How to choose weapon ammo?

Hey, that's what I've read in another forum:
The level design work that Ritual did for Condition Zero was all done using Ritual's in-house version of Radiant as opposed to Valve's Hammer editor (we all had years of experience with radiant and little or no exposure to worldcraft/hammer so it made more sense to get radiant working properly). Last I knew an fgd for the 'deleted scenes' didn't exist
So it have to be possible to put some ammo points in a CS map.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but you're going to need an origin brush for that func_train. The origin brush will automatically align the train to the centre of the first path.
