Hello, I am very new to map editing and am excited to get moving in the direction of a full sized map. Unfortunatly, testing ... erm ... "levels" I have already made is important to me and I seem to be having problems with that. I have looked though numerous tutorials online and have contacted a few HL level editors, and it seems I have my gmae configuration set up correctly. There are no spaces in the paths to either Worldcraft or Halflife. From what I have seen, it seems to be a compiler error but I wouldnt know. Here is the part of the compiler output which concerns me.
********** ERROR **********
Error opening C:HL_EditingHalf-Lifevalvemapsleveltest.bsp: No such file or directory
When I look in the folder ("C:HL_EditingHalf-Lifevalvemaps") I see 'leveltest' but not in the right format. I see it in the .map format, not the .bsp
My compiler settings are as follows:
No additional command line paramaters
Run CSG: Normal
Run BSP: Normal
Run VIS: Normal
Run RAD: Normal
Dont run the game: Unchecked
Save visible objects only: Unchecked
When I test halflife comes up with the 'Map change failed. Map name 'leveltest' not found on server ]' thing.
Any help would be extremely appreciated.
Thank you,
Arbitar
