Point EntityInfo_tf_teamcheck is used in Attack & Defend style maps in which teams switch roles after the attacker's primary objective is reached. Spawnpoints, goals, items, and even turrets will target this entity to determine which team they are currently serving. For instance, a backpack in the attacker's spawn room will target the attacker's teamcheck to determine what team is currently the attacking team, and the pack will only function for that team.
The Teamcheck entity's team setting is changed by its complementary entity, info_tf_teamset.
