I've mentioned it before already, but since I've been asked, I now have proof. Just for sitting on my ass and logging in once a day, and then answering a personal-choice style question, I get "PTZ" which when accumulated I may spend at the point store which is restocked periodically. The next time being Oct 15 I believe.
Anyways, today I received my FREE copy of [PROTOTYPE] in the mail.

I've been trying to whip out a capture point map. For some reason Its a little more difficult (easier in some spots) to design around the points. I'm looking back at my old maps to see if some of them could be large enough to hold the capture points. Most of them are not. Perhaps Sancefar and maybe Poison Garden are good enough.
If you're reading this and think you have a map that's big enough, download the CP template and give it a shot. If the teamplay thing works well, I may buy a teamplay server.
Other than teamplay, I'm also trying to formulate a fun game mode for non-teamplay deathmatch.
So far I have a sort of King of the Hill setup in my mind. One where the king of the hill keep everyone off with an egon (only weapon he gets) and rest is equipped with standard loadout. Will have to give it a go at some point next week.
The remainder of this week comprises of me graduating my ass out of school. I'm not as excited as I thought I would be, but at least I don't have to go to school. My degree will be a Bachelors of Art in Media Arts and Animation. I almost second-majored in game art, but couldn't afford it.
With this degree, things might be really rough trying to make ends meet. I spoken with a very wise friend and I was inspired to travel to eastern Asia, like China, Korea, or Japan (probably Japan). That could happen soonish within 2 years. I'm really psyched over the whole idea. The best part is that I'm qualified to teach in a foreign country! That makes mad money, so when I come home, I have a nice "nest egg" waiting for me in the money department. With savings like that, I could start a small company, or get my life in the direction I've always wanted it to go in.
Also, I have good karma in east Asia anyway.

So, last week I was told that I couldn't go on hoilday this week seeing as I was currently working on 5 websites and it would be bad to leave 5 clients hanging for another week. I thrashed those 5 websites into existance to get them finished by Friday so that I could take my week off and all but 2 of the clients were happy with the result. 2! Bastards.
So, this morning I got into the office and both me department manager and the company managing director looked at me and said: "Aren't you on holiday this week?"
I explained that I was told that I couldn't take the holiday seeing as 2 clients wanted to make changes to their websites before they would sign them off as complete.
The department manager responded: "Who told you that? If you've sent the site to the client then its done. I can have one of the other guys make the changes if they need to. Go home. Enjoy your holiday."

Since I love white BMW's, I thought right on! then I notice the item number was 1341, and I was like wtf!
Me and my girlfriends phone number is 394-1341... lol
Its as if the poster was made for me, so what could I do? Well god dammit I purchased it! Tomorrow I hunt for a nice poster frame!

I tried to give a reason for the player to get a weapon. Unlike most maps where they are just laying around , this has a point.
In the map , you are faded in to a view camera looking on a small alleyway with a forcefield covering it , protecting some fragile crates and the conditioning for a combine factory. A metrocop sees a fault with the barrier and walks through, and has a go at the control panel. A citizen decides he can gossip to his friends and leans next to the forcefield emitter. The idiot metrocop buggers it up and gets himself killed - Overheating the forcefield blowing it up , and igniting the poor citizen , giving the player access to the crowbar the metrocop was using. The fragile box is highlighted to show the player something important is in there - and that's an HEV suit. As soon as you break the box, a nearby citizen yells at you ( Thanks to MegaJohnny he has custom voices) , trying to grab your attention. He wants help but tells you you can get there by busting into a door. This door has 4 highlighted locks.
The rest is unfinished.

Contrary to popular belief, I'm not just a mapper. I've also made some custom skies with terragen, many textures (Okay, mostly printscreens with minor edits, but still) and some simple model hacks. You've seen two of my models, but I wanted to show off some I've done since then, as well as my skies;

Hgrunt barney model. While it does not act as a replacement, it could be used as a barney type. Uses gearboxes' Torch and medic anims.

This news is a little old, but according to the article, a loophole found in the current age ratings laws mean you can now buy any DVD you wish, even those pornos you desperately wanted to buy!
But hurry, because a new law is currently coming in to replace it, which will take about 3 months to come in to effect.

I have no idea why I came back to this site.
Honestly , no idea. I've spent years on Facepunch and I plan to do so.
Although my mapping skills were greatly increased by the good people of TWHL.
Looking through my previous journals.. Christ - to think I came onto this site when I was 9.. Almost 5 years ago.
It is so weird. Just to think.
No wonder I'm the top in my graphics class!
Anyway , Basically I'm going to be popping in now and again. I'm improving my modelling skills :
, and hopefully to start practicing on rigging. That and faceposing. When That's done , I may have a stab at Cyclone , Although I still have the ideas jotted down on paper and on .vmfs , it will probably never happen.
