So I have returned from Taiwan.
It was a nice trip, minus the five hours of screaming my son had on the airplane on the way there.
One thing I noticed in Taiwan was that gaming is taken very seriously there. There are prime-time television programs devoted to gaming. And I see plenty of Counter-Strike commercials on TV.
I also saw this gigantic billboard of Warhammer at a popular strip mall:
And Counter Strike commercials? You mean commercials for the game itself?
I wish they had prime time shows dedicated to gaming in the US
Well welcome back. I hope your trip was fun.
LOLOLOLOLOLL
I couldn't record it either, since I didn't know when the commercial would be on in advance. By the time I got my camcorder ready, it would be over.

"Even better than that World Crafter, we have G4TV."
Oh god, don't remind me.
The people are very friendly too. Countless number of strangers greeted us, and many of them gave my son small toys or snacks. In general, Taiwanese are friendlier than American.
Ah I remember seeing the lame trailer for that CS type game. The trailer tricks you into thinking it's like the next version up from Source but it's just CG
I didn't say it wasn't. I was just saying that that is about all we have.
anyway welcome back WHERE ARE OUR SOUVENIRS
