I just bought a pair of SENNHEISER headphones for $19.99.

The reviews at Newegg are pretty positive. I already own a pair of SENNHEISER , but that one was just uncomfortable after wearing it for more than an hour.

This one looks more comfortable.

I wear a pair of raggedy torn up Sony MDR-V150 (the generic looking studio monitor headphones) that in conjunction with my X-Fi XtremeMusic produce incredible sound. They used to hurt my head after only half an hour, but I guess my skull adapted...

With all the noise on our street, my 5.1 surround speakers kind of go to waste. Headphones make you feel more involved.

I just use a pair of Jensen headphones i got with a portable CD player about 5 years ago.
They work well enough for me.
Those do look nice, satch.

Damn that's a huge impedance for headphones.

Is that good or not? :P

Big headphones are great :)
I can't stand buds.

Well the higher the impedance, the more power you will need to actually get them to work.
For instance, most earbud headphones are in the 16 Ohm to 32 Ohm range.
From a limited output soundcard (not really hi-fi)
On the other hand, the higher the ohmic value, the more low end you'll get out of them..

So they kick ass when it comes to bass huh?

And it's not really HUGE impedance, Just higher than most average head-mounted listening devices.

The headphone has shipped.

I will let you know how it sounds once I get it.
