Thanks to a fellow mod member, It's now 02:50am and I've just finished downloading Dead Space, Mercenaries 2 and Mirrors Edge are being downloaded as I type this. The best part? All completely free!
That's right folks, EA fucked up.
If you live in the UK, add said three games to your basket and start downloading before EA realise what they've done. But as I said it's nearly 3am right now, so by the time you all read this I'm assuming it will be morning, and by then it may be too late!
It seems a lot of people caught on and got downloading, so numerous threads on multiple forums started popping up discussing what EA can do about it, the result being jack SHIT. But who knows, maybe they can? But it's too late now since so many people have downloaded.
Personally I think EA can't do anything and won't, but we'll see!

Of course, Best Buy refused to deliver the TV's and instead refunded the money back to most of the customers who ordered them. Now, I say most of the customers, because Best Buy was forced by State Law to deliver the TV's to the first 5 customers who ordered them at $9.99. Now that's what I call a deal!

Infact, I downloaded it using the EA download manager, so that makes it quite humerous too.
Oh, and it's NOT piriting, what if someone went onto that website that night to buy those three games and got them for free, is he suddenly a pirate? Nope, he was just unaware. If the website says it's free, it's free. Wether you were exploiting it intentionally or not makes no difference.
Those corporate bastards don't deserve our money.
Also, yes that is pirating. You're just making yourself feel better about it by downloading it for free from the official site rather than downloading it for free from other less legal sources. But it's the same shit.
If they weren't making any money from us, they wouldn't be making any games. EA produces some pretty damn good games, I can't imagine what the game industry would be like without them. Just because they make a lot of money selling games, they're no-good goddamned corprit bastards?
When the corporations are bigger thieves than the so-called pirates, copyright infringement is downright practical. But considering that all games are priced the same when new, how can you possibly justify piracy from EA over Valve, or any other game company?
Better yet, Microsoft should get some better compedetors.

let's not forget that by pirating these games out of your hate for EA (who is a fucking PUBLISHER YOU FUCKING MORON) you're fucking over the developers (ie the PEOPLE WHO FUCKING WORKED TO MAKE THE GAMES, NOT EA). i'm beginning to wonder if you know anything about video games...
Mirror's Edge is one of my favourite games and DICE deserve all the sales they can get for it. it is a wonderfully creative and unique game and they deserve to be rewarded for taking such a creative risk, and then there is faggots like you pirating it.

You'll eventually realise that I don't give a fuck who I fucked over getting these three games, for example; EA messed up which caused DICE to lose sales with Mirrors Edge... and as a result, tough luck DICE.
I never pirated the games out of my hate for EA, I had the chance to get three free games.... So I did. I just never give a shit because it was EA who messed up.
