I don't care what these freaks do, what I care about is that all they get is a tiny slap on the wrist and they're just thrown back into normal society again. Fuck the government if they actually let these people get off so easy.

That is just fucked. I mean, that is really fucked.

I hope hackers find his house and make his address public.

Terrible, but certainly not the first time this has happened.
Remember the video of that girl that threw puppies into the river?
What about that video of the US marines throwing a puppy off a cliff?

It's better that this guy got hit with a brutal fine and gets to spend a hot minute in jail, I think.

Wow, reading that made me feel a little bit sick.
That's just horrible :(

Archie, if the government[\whomever manages the prison times] did their job right these sick fucks wouldn't step foot on public property ever again, you think this bastard gives a shit about a couple months and a small fine?

Moreover he's not even arrested yet, let alone due for a court session, so for now he's scot-free to murder more innocent puppies and kittens.
Commented 12 years ago2011-12-05 02:27:10 UTC Comment #43227
I can't believe I'm even bothering to respond since you must be trolling again, yet here I am.

Thirty grand is higher than the average yearly salary. It's hardly a "small fine".
Half a year in prison as well? Yes, I do think he'd give a shit. And he deserves the punishment absolutely.

As for him being scot-free at the moment, how could you possibly wire your brain to make you think that's a valid argument for "the government letting these people get off so easy."
Because he's not been found yet he's being let off easily and it's the government's fault?

Will you please stop finding the retard-angle of every fucking topic on this site? Despite what you might think, it's not actually necessary to have a totally idiotic opinion of everything for balance or whatever excuse you reason to yourself with.
Commented 12 years ago2011-12-05 03:03:45 UTC Comment #43221
Not only $30,000, but he's also losing half a year's worth of salary just by being in jail.
Commented 12 years ago2011-12-05 03:06:50 UTC Comment #43254
I thought I was an idiot, and not a 'retard'. Somehow you always seem to manage to find a way to outdo yourself. Somehow.

if what trollo is trying to say, is that punishments for crimes in general ARE NOT strong enough to be a deterrent, then i would agree with him.

Not to mention all the horseshit(not least of which cost) involved with pussyfooting around (appeals, delays) that are gone through EVEN WHEN there is no doubt the guy is guilty. it's so fucked.

I'm all for a more draconian legal system. Judged Dredd protocol would be fine with me any day of the week.

Wow, how disturbing. Some people have no soul.
Commented 12 years ago2011-12-05 03:16:15 UTC Comment #43255
Not just in general, yeah maybe people who do little things could do more time, but people who outright murder innocent animals or beings? They do not deserve to ever be anywhere near regular society, before or after the crime was committed.
Commented 12 years ago2011-12-05 03:20:09 UTC Comment #43243
yup for sure, violent crimes, even crimes against humanity like paedophelia seem to be very under-punished.

The second thing is a real problem: what do you do with those who cannot be rehabilitated?

You guys are only saying this cause kittens are cute. If it was a rat or a frog being fed to the python you wouldn't care.
Commented 12 years ago2011-12-05 09:07:19 UTC Comment #43258
He fed an animal to an animal...

And got a 30 000$ fine? What the F..?

Its like that time when those animal rights retards fines a man for killing a piton here in Serbia. And pitons do not live in Serbia. F-ing retarded.
Commented 12 years ago2011-12-05 10:13:41 UTC Comment #43225
@Skals. I don't condone live feeding full stop. The argument owners give that "it's natural" is so fucking transparent when they are keeping the thing in a fucking glass tank. (no pun intended)

Commented 12 years ago2011-12-05 13:19:26 UTC Comment #43245
What a terrible man. I consider it sick to watch the little kitty die in torment. But at the same time, I think of the natural laws that are there in the nature. Hunt or be hunted, survive or be killed. But in this case, laws have been violated.

In a very simplistic manner, avoiding the implication of any sentiments, the injustice done here is the unnatural way this event happened. The whole act of the piton killing the cat and then eating it was artificial. It was influenced by an outside force, a force that is aware( the conscience of that sick man). Therefore, he brutally violated the rules of nature, resulting in a fatal ending for the poor cat.

That's why he will go to jail.

I ask you the truth: are you really that sensitized as it seems from your posts?

For example( with no offense): "Dear humanity,
I hate you, please die.
Your friend, JeffMOD."

Hiroshima.

@Stojke: The issue is not that an animal got eaten by another animal, it is that an animal suffered needlessly. There are ways to kill an animal without causing it (much) pain. While those ways aren't available to an animal in the wild, they were available to this man.

Id never kill an animal Potatis, not a domestic one.

Its about they suing him for an insane amount of money and with jail, while people that sadistically kill cats and other animals get something insignificant as a punishment.

I agree that its not right to feed a kitten to a snake, but seriously.

Poor kitty. Although I have to agree with Skals, I've seen videos of people feeding live mice to pythons, and while there were people saying that it's horrible, the majority were defending it. Although unlike this they weren't deliberately doing it to inflame.
Commented 12 years ago2011-12-05 20:30:47 UTC Comment #43238
I didn't watch the video and I don't intend to, what I was trying to say is it's ridiculous that something stupid like this can cause such massive commotion. One idiot decides to do something cruel to an animal, and everyone makes such a massive deal out of it? There are still many other idiots out there doing things like this still. For this reason I simply do not care, for I am not silly enough to jump on the band wagon of whiners who can't get over one persons stupidity.
Commented 12 years ago2011-12-05 20:42:03 UTC Comment #43256
So if somebody murdered one of your relativesimmediate family members you wouldn't care, because there are thousands of murders every day?

Saying that nobody should care about something horrible happening just simply because lots of horrible things happen all the time, is so beyond any idiotic logic I could possibly understand.
Commented 12 years ago2011-12-05 21:18:14 UTC Comment #43239

Commented 12 years ago2011-12-06 00:15:11 UTC Comment #43244
yea agreed i'm starting to think that fine and jail time is a little intense for the crime. I'm not condoning his actions in any way, but at least the animal didn't probably suffer long.

I still feel it's different than killing a mouse, but i can't logically think of any way to dispute the arguement, so...

"Hiroshima."

Dear humanity,

Your friend, JeffMOD.

It's pretty much a blanket statement for all the assholes who do evil things. The atomic bombing of Japan was one of those. Yes, they stopped a rather lengthy war. They also killed a bunch of civilians in the process. Not America's finest moment. I have long since come to the conclusion that human nature is an evil thing and that there will always be bad people. Especially when there are near-worthless bits of paper with large integers on them involved.

Commented 12 years ago2011-12-06 03:30:04 UTC Comment #43219
I am with TJB, he probably did it to spark shit so it's a different story. People feed snakes live mice all the time. In some cases, you HAVE to feed them live animals. They don't have the best eye sight so a live animal moving can help them see. Also, some snakes straight up won't eat dead animals and I have proof. The snake actually ate the kitten so It's not like the animal was killed in vain. Yes people think of kittens as pets not food, but some people are just as close to their pet mice as others with cats. I don't agree with filming it and only doing it to start trouble, but just because you have a pet kitten doesn't make it anymore cruel to feed a snake a cat than a mouse.

I love cats and I almost bought a mouse except the cage was 8 times the price of the little bugger. The size of an animal or the popularity of owning one as a pet doesn't determine cruelty to me. I'm just sharing my 2 cents so don't flame me.

Also, I am surprised the snake ate it. I've never heard of a snake eating a cat.... I bet the guy filming it starved the snake to make sure it would. I know certain areas of the world eat dogs, so I am guessing people somewhere eat cats too.
Commented 12 years ago2011-12-06 05:42:29 UTC Comment #43228
I don't think anybody is denying that it's a fucking disgusting act - filming it in particular.

When he gets caught his life will be utterly ruined by a crippling fine and jail time, which is an extremely harsh - though in my opinion justified - punishment.

There's no debate to be had here. Dude does something sick. Dude will be punished severely.
Crollo is just stirring up shit for the sake of stirring up shit, as per usual. Notice in particular the way skals made a fairly reasonable post and Crollo twisted it to such an extent that he managed to interpret that Skals was somehow suggesting that if a member of his family was killed it wouldn't matter.

Fundamental proof that pretty much everything Crollo writes is utter drivel.

Ignore it as best you can.
Commented 12 years ago2011-12-06 05:56:25 UTC Comment #43257
It's funny because you say to ignore it yet every single opportunity you get you do the exact opposite.

How does the moral high ground feel for you, hypocrite?

What compels someone to do very little mapping, yet frequent a mapping community and continually stir up shit? It doesn't make too much sense.

As the owner of the cat in Skals' avatar I have to say I find animal-on-animal violence a lot less revolting than, say, human-on-animal violence... and cruelty of the act aside, I find this a lot less disturbing than, say, NEDM.
