Hello guys, im not sure whether im allowed to use journal to ask for help.
Anyway, my laptop's numpad has stopped working. Now instead of pressing 8 i get the same action as arrow UP, 2 as down, 4 left and so on. There is no numlock key on this thing.
Any help would be appreciated

There is a short circuit somewhere. Disassamble and analyze (unless its in warranty of course).

Usually requires replacement.

Don't even bother disassembling or replacing it. Does the period key under 3 have the same function as delete?

What is your laptop make and model. There is most likely a key combination (e.g. Fn key + something else) to enable or disable numlock.
