Some idiot(s), possibly drunken, set our neighbor's car (last pic) on fire causing the entire carport to burn down. That was quite a scare.

I'd say find these people and fight fire with fire, but
A ) That is illegal.
B ) You might end up also burning someone else's place by accident like they did with yours.

Could've been worse.

The fire could have spread across the forest, or they could've used TNT, or they could've even set up some traps with pressure plates.

Was there any heat damage to stuff on the other side of that wall? I could imagine that potentially melting stuff, it could have been very hot.

Yes, some of the plaster in the attic of our neighbor house fell off, but that was all, thankfully.
