We have two new tutorials up: Carving, by TheGrimReafer and Tetrahedron Terrain, by Daubster.

Now, if you can't carve after reading the first tutorial, then you shouldn't be mapping at all!
Tetrahedron Terrain is a fantastic new method for terrain construction in Goldsource, so if you're up for some advanced mapping techniques, check it out as its a must for optimisation.

That reminds me: there are several people with a tutorial (or 10) in draft, and they haven't changed in a long time. If you have a draft tutorial, get working!

Make sure you select your whole map and hit the 'carve' button before your final compile.

You can't join the lazy squad if you put effort into joining it! That's not the way it works.

wait until finals are over at least! 2 weeks for that, then its 6D, and when i'm burned like toast from that, tutorials, then more 6D. Those keepin up with the thread know when the demo comes out.

But really, judge and post the compo winrars! stop the wave of lazy with your own actions!

because the judges have uni work to do, which is more important than compo results. that, and the compo results code isn't done yet, and i can't do it until july because i have exams.
