TF2 Update Now Available

Valve has released the new update for TF2, which brings with it a bunch of achievements for the Pyro, as well as some new maps. The Pyro's flamethrower is also getting updated with an alternate fire function, and as per the Medic release, 3 new weapons which are unlocked as you complete achievements. Valve have also packed two community built maps in this pack. Now, something tells me you guys could easily make something better than one of those maps...

If, for some reason, you don't have TF2, hit up Steam and play the full game during the free TF2 weekend, which is happening right now.

So what are you waiting for? Start spamming servers with the Pyro!

The Flare Gun looks so damn bitchin'. DO WANT.

Actually, the afterburner is much better than the flare gun. Flare gun only ignites, and you pretty much have to hit a static target, its slow, and it falls, so yeah.
After burner though, is nice to have to get the Kill 50 People From Behind achievement. From behind, it ALWAYS critical hits.
I have yet to unlock the Axetinguisher though... 5 more left to go!

Pfft, I'll judge whether or not the Flare Gun sucks! I generally dislike the Pyro class, and all those bloody shotguns everyone has.

Tip: Equip the Flare Gun sparingly, it's not too fun on 2fort considering the underwater element... you'd only be able to use an axe in that situation

I still haven't played TF2, but if I would then it would definitely be a pyro. I tend to pick that class in TFC to all the time, nothing can beat burning a few unsuspecting scouts or heavies.
