Competition 30

Strider StriderTuned to a dead channel.
Time for a competition! A short one this time, and we're doing it a bit differently. Be sure to read the rules here, and post your entries here, NOT the usual way.

This time the winner will be decided by community voting. We don't have a proper system for that in place right now, so it's a bit of a messy way of handling things. Another feature to add to the TWHL4 checklist!

EDIT:
The competition is over! Time to vote.

Visit this voting page to make your choice (image heavy!). You can only vote once, but you can change it at any time by simply selecting your new favourite. We'll be leaving it open for a week at the most, or until the votes die down.

Like the other competitions, there will still be a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winner once we tally it up. Good luck to everyone!

this is fairly exciting to have a sanctioned minicompo! i like the idea of community voting too, but i think possibly mod's votes should be weighted double that of normal members. just a thought. (mods tend to be more impartial then reg members by a factor of 2-to-1.

The 'rules' link on this page is broken. Says 32 when it should say 30, I believe. Definitely an awesome competition idea, and I am looking forward to seeing what people can do with it.

Ah, thanks. I fixed the link in the forums, missed the news post. Some idiot created a couple of "TEst" (which makes it easy to guess who it was) compos which bumped the compo number up.

Hah, I know who it was!

Also, you properly formatted the rules and regulations, yay.

SO... Apparently you can vote for yourself?

I'm going by the honor system and voting for ******.
Heh.
Good luck to all!

There's going to be more people voting then have entered, even though we had a massive turnout. I'm not worried if everyone votes for their own work. :P

Are the images in the voting page set to no cache? Every time I load it every single one of them is downloaded again -_-
Commented 12 years ago2011-04-18 13:23:34 UTC Comment #99876
they're randomized. it's probably messing with the cache

Actually.. They are being resized by the style-sheet to be "thumbnail sized" when they are actually fully sized screenshots. Right click them and hit "open image" and you'll get a full screen shot. They're too large to cache. :P
