This is really bizarre. I really didn't see any difference in the amount of gore from the first game, then again, I suppose they may have done something we haven't seen.
This is almost as funny as when Fallout 3 was banned because the Med-X was originally called morphine.
Yeah, Fallout 3 was banned in Australia because of the detailed drug references and use. They ended up changing the names of the drugs and also adjusting the benifits/side-effects from becoming addicted.
And C_striker, yes, this is only really fiction right now. But such a thing could be totally possible. The movie '28 days later' is a good example, a virus that causes a massive unbalance in hormones and shuts down higher brain functions is, while yet unknown, is totally plausible as there are many viruses AND drugs that do exactly the same thing, just not on such an extreme level. And the virus is transmitted through blood or saliva and infects within seconds, sounds alot like the good old ebola virus that still lingers deep within Africa. If that get's to a populated area we are all fucked. The good news is that it infects and kills too quickly, so it would be hard for it to get off a continent.
