3 minutes?!? That's a great compile time!
Now the lights. Seventh forgot to mention that the lights also have to be the same style as well. Basically they all have to be the exact same copies of each other. Also, use a multi_manager to trigger them all at the same time! This is the only way to get more entity based lights in your map. Otherwise, use texture lighting. You wont get effects such as strobe and that, but they look nice all the same.

HomeLAN - Finally, we have to ask; how is Half-Life 2 coming along?

Gabe Newell - Good. It's in great shape. We anticipate delivering it to Vivendi in August.

If you want this for your maps you'll have to make a mod which ZL has mentioned. If you don't, the changes you made will appear in the actual game as well as your map (as Seventh). Setting up a mod isn't hard. However make sure that when you've setup your mod, that you set Hammer up so that your mapping for your mod.

You have too many entity based lights shining on a particular area. The easy way to fix this is to remove lights from an area that has a lot. The max amount of lights you can shining on one face is three. If you are triggering them on, trigger them all at the same time by giving them the same name. Also, for future reference, click here as this topic as been brought up a lot around here. Search the forums next time.

Hope I helped :D

Wouldn't a multi_manager work? Barney hits button>Activates MM>MM activates the walking sequence>MM activates monstermaker

You'd have to figure out the time delay between Barney walking and when you want the monsters to appear.
