Finnish TV channels don't seem to care. They're just showing their usual SMS game shows instead. :)

Can't remember.

Every time I do something embarassing, I try not to think about it afterwards and eventually forget all about it. There goes a valuable lesson!

The system I'm getting this summer is quite similiar:
Mobo: MSI K8N SLI Platinum
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 3200+, Venice, Socket 939
RAM: 2x 512MB DDR 400MHz
GPU: GeForce 6600GT 128MB PCI-E
HDD: 250GB SATA
That would be some ~1000 euros.

Translations ruin the original atmosphere of the book pretty well. I haven't read a translated book for ages.

The "Best of Vault" page could be done seperately, on a page hosted on a non-TWHL server.

As a matter of fact, I've been thinking about buying a web hotel along with a domain(twhlers.org or similiar) and putting IRC stats, user blogs and possibly the "Best of Vault" thing there.

I'm ~20 pages away from finishing Moving Pictures, another Pratchett. Going to read Pyramids next.

I was pretty shocked when after that "Every breath you take" -song, the narrator on the Finnish TV said: "This is a pretty clear message from the G8 countries: We will be watching you!."

Those people are up to no good, especially that sonofabitch Berlusconi.

jaardsi, you look like Dr. Crane from the new Batman movie.

That resemblance is a bit uncanny and unsettling.

By the way, does he happen to turn in to a hideous mutant monster during in the movie?

Google's satellite mapping service (ok, some areas have a street view) Google Maps just got bigger. Egypt, Iraq, mainland Europe and the UK are all now satellite mapped now. Please play with this wonderful tool and report your findings to this thread. (To turn on the satellite view, press the 'Satellite' link in the upper right hand corner.)
