Problem (mabye just to do with my computer and stuff): IT can't find mscoree.dll , Does the same thing when my computer starts up it has something to do with my video card i think because i get it when i try start up my ATI catalyst control center
Problem: Just testing it and all just filled in the things and generated code and it creates it in C drive , I don't have a C drive.

The closest hole to where you took the pic from doesnt really go with the other one i think, should be shaped a bit more like the top one, but thats just my appinion

I got another dream, to get through this heat wave of summer alive. Its to hot to think and that means no good ideas for mapping

But at least im happy for now, Ive ordered An old video card that is an old video card (RADEON 9200SE) But its still un touched, No more me stuck with old 7yr old video cards this year. And ill also be playing on a borrowed monitor from some guy i know, I don't know how big it is but comared to the old 15 inch one its awsome.

But don't change it i was just plaing spot the diffrence 
I just couldent help but notice (this is the only time ive had a good look at the placing of the boxes, the origional are more to the right and yours are closer to the left.
well, i have a solution, i wont get the 9800 if i can't find it, but ill get the newer radeon X800XT Its not really new but a bit newer that 9800 (i think)
EDIT: Ordered a RAdeon 9200SE 64mb on ebay , should get it soon, And then lucky me ill be able to play on steam and not on the crap LAN network

Well I've had a look around, been to the sites that sold the radeon 9800 pro 2 years ago and it seems no one sells it anymore, the best they go up to is a 9600XT or Pro, So, if anyone can tell me where to find one, please tell me because i can't find one anywhere.
I goto school, diliver newspapers and junkmail (I know its a crap job, but i gotta get some extra cash to get some more things for my new computer im getting) goto the gym, hang with my mates, and i do some other things that i can't remember doing lately, like homework and stuff.

Heh, Thats what Someone told me to do when steam screwed up my textures on hl, i dled the drivers, found out my video card was 7yrs old and i had the newest drivers in already, still got the video card in this computer now
Yea, i have the problem with the flashlight, just go up to a wall and turn it off, works for me.
And i get problems with my direct3D, when i go into playing a map and i want to go back to the menu, the menu won't come up for some reason.

I've read some of the posts (not the long ones , i'm to tired) but going back a few years, when i was in primary school, we had religion lessons (which i hated) and the guy says that it was mostly stories that were passed down by people about god and all, but what if the stories got messed up somewhere in the line? someguy forgot a part and made anyother part up to cover it up?, I'm not trying to say that this is right at all but just saying.

Hehe so dam true but anyways, www.twhl.co.za and www.hl-improvement.com and nothing else
I've had a look around at some PC stores but all of em say that they don't make em anymore or that its too good for the store to sell (very strange), So a guy at one of them said the the 9600XT was fine to run HL2 on max settings and it runs almost any game. He also tole me that AMD athalon 64s were old news and i should get something better. So what do you guys think?

No one noticed what Asinth said, but, how about redoing the Black Mesa Inbound train scene. You dont have to make a modified clone of it, but a train ride would be a neat Idea... I liked all the goofy stuff you can see if you look closely.. I think this would make an excellent competition.It's Ansith not Asinth

Very strange, ive just put an extra 256mb of RAM in and i already had 128 in the pc , it only says ive got 256 when i should have 300 something, but im happy that i dident kill the computer by doing this

Yea ive had a look on the net but i saw a pic of a motherboard looking like the one in the computer , it showed me where the slot for the processor should be , and theres nothing like that on the whole thing.

Well as i was looking through Planet Phillp for a good mod to play , I saw a nice looking one called Distinct Reality but they only had screenshots of the mod and no DL link or information on it, so i was wondering if anyone here has played this or has it because i would like to know what its about and all, and if you have it could you send it to me please.
