in my map i have some pillars with a breakable shell, cept the shell doesnt have a gibbing effect. maybe this is becos of the func_breakable has no solid or sumtin in problems? wot the hell does it mean wen it says not solid?

i think it shows up white cos i am using over 8 WADs, it has doneno harm b4 but now i think thats wot is causing it. thanx, my map jax_lobby (CS) comin real soon now! :D

ok its fixed up, in hammer it looks as if it is just white but when compiled it actually shows the textures i have placed, hmmm strange stuff... :D

wen i texture one side of a solid it just comes up white and no texture appears to be added. this doesnt happen with a few textures. i havent compiled my map since this change has been made. any help? :)

ok, i have inserted a prefab (Dodge Viper to be exact) and it inserts basically a whole new small map, and the sky(1), start points (2) and cars (2) are all grouped together!!!! ok, hot do i get just one car into my map without all that extra stuff? :

yes i am doin a swat van and car i know how to do it now, my map is coming along reaaally well now thanx to ur posts and solutions in my topics, alos with zombieloffe and ppl, check out my first map jax_breakable in the vault and look out 4 jax_lobby which im workin on now :D

i think im gettin the hang of it but the cars and trucks are mde up of so many diff solids so it makes it hard to make it look proper, so i have to seperatly texture each face of each solid showing? :roll:

hmmm ive put the wad file in the directory and ive loaded it in hammer but i cant find it, also the toggle texture application is so hard to use, ive seen swat vans in maps that have the words SWAT across the side and the rest is blue, i want sumtin like that but how? :confused:
