With this store they are doing exactly what they claim they don't want to do. They segregate people into groups that can't play together: one group with players with big wallets and players who have played for a very long time, another group with those without big wallets who haven't played for a very long time. The first group has an advantage over the other thanks to having better weapons. Valve are giving the working class a disadvantage. This update will especially affect players from poor countries. These players have never been able to afford as many games as the other players, but at least they have been playing by the same rules in the games that they can afford.

TF2 has in my opinion been getting worse almost every update. I think it's too complicated now with so many different weapons. I used to enjoy the game.

Q: What's a Mann Co. Store?
A: Accessible from inside TF2, the Mann Co. Store will now let players buy, trade and customize the largest addition of inventory items in the game's history, using their Steam Wallets.

Q: What's a Steam Wallet?
A: Steam now has a feature called the Steam Wallet. It allows you to put money into it, which can then be spent either on in-game items, such as the ones offered in TF2?s Mann Co. Store, or on full products like games in the Steam store.

Q: Are store items priced in points, or some other weird currency?
A: No, the Steam Wallet uses the same real-world currency Steam currently supports (USD/GBP/Euros).
Team Fortress 2 is getting even "better"... I want the old TF2 back.

I had been using the password "potatis" (Swedish for potato(es)) for a couple of years and all my friends knew that (they used to borrow my Youtube account since they were to lazy to sign up themselves). One of my friends had been using the unoriginal MSN nickname "Fallen Angel" for a few months when he decided to make a new Hotmail account because he kept getting spam email. He created fallen_invalido@hotmail.com ("invalido" is slang for disabled person). I also needed a new email address and I decided to put my well-known password and my friend's email address together to create potatis_invalido@hotmail.com (this was when Hotmail was still popular for some reason). Unfortunately (or fortunately, I can't decide which I like best), TWHL doesn't allow more than 15 characters in nicknames, so the "o" was cut off.

I'd like to hear saw1833's story.

The Widescreen Gaming Forum is a great site when a game doesn't let you use your preferred video resolution.

@Tetsu0: AoE2 works just fine for me (ATI HD4870, XP Pro x64). I found a forum thread about AoE2 colour problems on Windows 7.

Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace
The game's installer won't run on x64 Windows, because the x64 versions of Windows don't support 8088 (16-bit) programs. The game itself is x86 (32-bit). If you install the game on a virtual machine running a x86 (32-bit) Windows and then move the installed game from the virtual machine to your real PC, you'll be able to play it.

Post instructions on how to get old games running the way they should on modern computers.

Deus Ex
If you have a multi-core CPU Deus Ex will run at double speed or faster. The Deus Exe launcher fixes this.

7th Legion
7th Legion has the same problem as Deus Ex. The easiest way around it is to after you've started 7th Legion, open Windows Task Manager (ctrl+alt+delete), click Processes, right-click on legion.exe, click Set Affinity and uncheck all CPUs except one.

Star Wars Jedi Knight II - Jedi Outcast
If the game crashes when you start it, the problem is most likely in your video drivers. If updating those does not help, you can use an OpenGL > DirectX wrapper called GLDirect. The latest version can be found here. Put opengl32.dll from GLDirect in your Jedi Outcast/GameData folder.

Remember, levels aren't everything... ha ha ha.
True, but Mewtwo is a good Pok?mon and it's been leveled up 23 levels. Unless he's used rare candy it has seen many fights and should have some EV. His birds on the other hand are on the same level he found them at and can't have fought much at all and should have almost no EV.

I apologize for my outburst. I do however still think the GIF is wrong. You don't directly hurt children by spreading child pornography, but you indirectly do, by encouraging people to produce child porn. The same logic can be applied to the GIF. You don't see the squirrel getting hurt, but it's an unavoidable consequence of it getting shot into the air at such a high speed.

There are numerous examples of animal abuse in Christian literature. When you think it's funny that a squirrel gets shot away in a home-made canon to most likely get injured and possibly die I assume you don't care about animals. For your information I am a vegetarian, so I don't eat hamburgers. I do however perfectly understand those who do, and where hamburgers come from. Animals kills animals. I do not understand people who hurt or kill animals for pleasure, for example sacrificing a sheep or a cow to pleasure some God, or shooting a squirrel from a canon.

It kind of makes sense that conservative Christians think animal lives are worthless, I mean, if they believe the universe is a few thousand years old because that's what some old fool wrote in a book, they're bound to be fucked up in the head.

TWHL's main colours are RGB(230, 168, 61) and RGB(218, 161, 52). The CSS named colour with the most resemblance to those two colours is goldenrod which is defined as RGB(218, 165, 32). Orange comes close, being defined as RGB(255, 165, 0).

Potatis reminds me of my girlfriend's little brother who has tourettes and ADD issues. He loves pokemon with everything he is, but alas has no friends because he plays wii and DS all day.

He's a little brat as well, and whines and cries way too often to be a 10 year old.
He needs to be out getting laid like the rest of our youth. Isn't that what kids do now days?
Ahaha, that's actually half me. Or one third. I like Pok?mon (but not enough to call myself a fan and I'm not obsessed with it). I have ADD, I have obsessions but not Tourette's. I have a big sister (although she's "only" my half sister). I play DS but I don't have a Wii. I guess the only major differences are that I do have friends and I'm not 10 years old. And I'm not whiney... am I?
