He always did the role of the pretty boy in all the movies he performed in.
Fixed.

No, he was a pretty good actor and will be missed. RIP indeed.
Ghost was a pretty great movie if memory serves correct. I'd recommend it alongside Tito, even though it's a chick flick.

Finally saw District 9, and I'd give it a 7/10.
Well it certainly didn't disappoint me. Though it did bother me that a species that was portrayed as largely savage and primitive could develop such technology.

All in all, a pretty cool film with some really awesome special effects but a severe lack of depth. I don't see myself remembering this movie as anything exceptional in a few months time, if I remember it at all.

I have to say its not the prettiest animation, it breaks no new ground as far as that goes, but it DOES have an amazing and deep storyline that is perfect in every way down to the last detail.
So it is deeper than "bad guys kill good guys because they're bad guys"?
The trailers are god awful, and that's the impression I get from seeing them.

Use a trigger that each CT passes through at spawn to target the game_player_equip. And easy way to do this is to have the CTs fall down a black tube or something, fall through the trigger, then be teleported to where you want them to spawn.

Any of Kevin Smith's movies are pretty good. They get even better the more of them you watch, because they all tie into each other and you'll find yourself catching references to things all over the place.

5 Centimeters per Second
Saw it yesterday and would give it a solid 7/10. Would have been 8/10 but the ending was really abrupt.
"Told in three interconnected segments, we follow a young man named Takaki through his life as cruel winters, cold technology, and finally, adult obligations and responsibility converge to test the delicate petals of love."
Yeah, it was a chick flick. Whatever, it was on my weeaboo list for a long time and I decided to make this an weeaboo weekend.

Also mad lulz on Gamer.

I don't know how res iles work with source, but bsp packing is a lot more reliable if you figure out how to do it[imo, of course].

Pakrat's website has a good video how-to, if you haven't seen it. The Valve wiki page for Pakrat doesn't explain anything about Pakrat, but it's pretty straightfoward. As to what it does, it literally scans a bsp for materials used and takes matching materials from your game folder and packs them into the bsp.

Edit: Res file tutorial for Source: http://ximok.blogspot.com/2008/02/counter-strike-source-making-res-files.html

All I'm saying is that IMDB's top 250 are well known and pretty much self-recommending, so it would be better to suggest some lesser known favorites.
There's no way that you haven't seen a movie that you liked that isn't on that list.

PROPOSITION:
To save space and time, anything on IMDB's top 250 list shouldn't be mentioned here. The vast majority of the list are actually very great films that will undoubtedly end up being posted in this thread anyway.

I encourage you to run down the list and watch anything that looks interesting to you.

I thought Death Proof was atrocious. The last 20 minutes weren't enough to redeem it :nya:

Favorites? Well I have two clear-cut, all-time favorites but... well everyone and their dog and seen The Matrix, right?
I'll be annoyingly persistent at recommending Haibane Renmei, because it changed my life.

As for the others:
Pi - Sci fi/psychological
"The mathematician Maximillian Cohen is tormented by a severe migraine since he was a kid, and he uses many pills to reduce his painful headaches. He is a lonely man, and his only friend is his former professor Sol Robeson. Max has the following assumptions, which rules his life: (1) Mathematics is the language of nature; (2) Everything around us can be represented and understood from numbers; (3) If you graph the numbers in any systems, patterns emerge. Therefore there are patterns everywhere in nature. Based on these principles, Max is trying to figure out a system to predict the behavior of the stock market."
Pi is a definite recommendation if you like psychological films. I don't think films get any weirder than Pi.
Trailer here

A Scanner Darkly - Sci fi/political
In a totalitarian society in a near future, the undercover detective Bob Arctor is working with a small time group of drug users trying to reach the big distributors of a brain-damaging drug called Substance D. His assignment is promoted by the recovery center New Path Corporation, and when Bob begins to lose his own identity and have schizophrenic behavior, he is submitted to tests to check his mental conditions.
Worth a watch, if only for the really cool visuals. The story is hard to follow, though. Still a pretty cool guy, eh takes substance D and doesn't afraid of anthing.
Trailer here

No Country for Old Men - Thriller/Drama
Violence and mayhem ensue after a hunter stumbles upon some dead bodies, a stash of heroin and more than $2 million in cash near the Rio Grande.
A really, really cool movie with a fucking terrifying antagonist. Also includes Tommy Lee Jones.
Trailer here

Twelve Monkeys - Sci fi/mystery
In a future world devastated by disease, a convict is sent back in time to gather information about the man-made virus that wiped out most of the human population on the planet.
Cheesy plot, but really cool executions makes this sci-fi movie really awesome.
Trailer here

Sorry, no comedy recommendations right now. I'll probably post some later.

Is it possible to trigger something when a monstermaker spawn a monster instead of when it dies?
If so, just use that as your counter trigger. You'd have to spawn 1 more than needed, so kill off the extra one with a teleport to a trigger_hurt.

Sorry if this isn't an option, I don't have Hammer installed where I am.

Jesus, what a mess. You've got some great brushwork in there, but your texturing is just god awful.
Don't use such bright textures with bright colors. Even with proper lighting, those bright green and blue textures will be like staring into a spotlight. A spotlight that makes me rage and gouge my eyes out. And there's certainly no need to be stretching out some of the textures the way that you are.

The rim of that table looks awful because it's stretched so much. And the floor is just a big blur.

And as already said, don't run the game in software mode. Use openGL or Direct 3D instead.
SORRY, YOU WANTED ANSWERS TO YOUR ERRORS
Well as for RAD crashing, your second error is this:
http://www.slackiller.com/tommy14/errors.htm#malformed
And from looking at those screenshots, it's really not such a surprise. If the rest of the map looks like that, then you'd better just select the whole map and align everything back to "world" then align what needs aligning later.
But I've never seen that "surpassed 8192 leafs" error before.
Hope this helps.

Why don't you put your computer on the floor to save desk space?
I like it where it is-- it makes a nice wall so people can't look at me from the doorway. I'm in no shortage of space, even with this monstrosity of a case. Like I said, I move my keyboard forward to do paper work. That or I move out into the common room.

I live in a suite with 3 other people; 2 people per bedroom and a common room with a coffee table and couch (and whatever else the residents decide to bring).
Edit: Oh I see the photo is somewhat misleading. I have about 10 inches of nothingness between my keyboard and monitor.

Satchmo, it took me like 30 seconds to realize that picture is rotated 90 degree.
