The one thing I don't get is, the majority of the goverment is Christian... so I don't see why the CIA would try to discreetly promote Scientology... but then again, the only thing I know about Scientology is that they have different beliefs... of course, it is a bit suspicious that it's gone on for so long...

Why does it matter? I completely fail to understand how this went from a thread about Scientology to a thread about why America is supposedly the source of all evil in the world to a thread about who is a jerk off.

I recently got an computer with Vista pre-installed, and I have to say I sort of like it.
It's not as bad as people say it is. As for me, I have had no compatibility issues- as a matter of fact I was able to play all the XP games I installed just fine. (Even Battlefield Vietnam worked.)
Also, may I point out people said the same things about XP when it was first released? People just need to get used to it, thats all.
Also, it should be noted some stuff in OSX was actualy first in Vista before it was released, Microsoft isn't the only company that steals ideas and such.

What I mean is, this is totally unpredictable. Of course nobody knows how it really ticks, its been out for less than a day in the mainstream market. Most games, however, ARE going to start using DirectX 10, which is pretty much Vista only, unless someone cracks it. But even if somebody does crack it, it will most likely be unstable.

Halo 2 is only about 2 years old now. In case you haven't noticed, that's not as old as Half-Life, and about as old as Half-Life 2.
As for concrete evidence, my own concrete eveidence on whether it sucks or not is my experience after i trying it first. I personally think everybody is jumping on the "I hate Vista" bandwagon, just for the hell of it. If I agree with that after I try it, I'll jump on too. But I haven't tried it yet, so I'm not going to go any further.

Alright, here's the problem.
Ok, so someone is trying to make the perfect game console, that everybody would like. It would have the look of the Xbox 360 (everybody's favourite console look), using the Wii's controls (everybody's favourite controller), and have PS3's games (Everybody's favourite games.)
Do you see the problem?
In case you have not by now, here it is:
Everybody likes something different. People have different tastes!
Some people like different things over others. Others will disagree with them. It's just the way things work. Some people like shooters like Halo, while others like platformers like Mario or Sonic, and more people yet again like RPGs like Zelda. Some people may like them all! (I do, but again, that's just me!)
My point is, you might give some points of advice. There are very few times one console is a bad choice (such as the N-Gage), but still, if someone likes the PS3, if they really want it and like it, let them spend the 600 bucks! I forgot to mention that even though the PS3 is in a horrible state right now (in my opinion, that is), Once the price of the high end version is about 400 bucks, and there are some good games out for it by then, I'm probably going to pick one up. But I am going to wait. Besides, I just got a Wii, and I love the damn thing, Zelda is a fucking blast to play.
At the end of the day, it all comes down to one fact:

I am a proud owner of a Wii60.... both consoles are awesome. I have played the PS3 as well, and it sucked. Resistance is just a watered down version of Halo with better visuals....
