Screens look neat, but maybe make the floor and walls in the test chamber a little more interesting. The flat floor doesnt give me the impression that it is a 'secure test environment.'

hmm, that doesnt seem to be my issue, I have 3.2 miles of land, and an infrastructure level of 5.0. My people also like their religion and government type.
and all. My happiness is 16.18, so i dont know whats wrong there. Maybe my taxes are too high? they are at 20%, but i kinda need a high rate, because I only make around $1k a day. bleh, ill lower it, and see what happens.
Edit: I lowered my taxes to 16 % and happiness is up to 17.18, but the environment didnt change. Does anyone know if the environment is calculated ona daily basis, rather than instantly?
Edit Edit: I read a little more into it, my lack of technology, and improvements account for my poor environment, I guess you just shouldnt focus on Environment on the early stages of the game.

I dont want to ditch my coal, because it is tied to my Steel, which gives me -2% infrastructure cost. I already have water, which gives me beer for +2 Happiness. So I have to buy more land? It says I am not densely populated with 54.11 people/sq. mile. Maybe the update isnt automatic, We will see, but at this point, im down to 2/5 stars =(.
Anyone know how to get me Environment up? Ever since I accepted Coal as a resource, it has dropped =( Its at 2.5 stars now, and it used to be at 3.5. What factors can I adjust to improve it? the Forum description wasnt much help, it said adjust the infrastructure/people ratio, and access to water, and stuff. I buy infrastructure every day, with almost all of my money, and my population isnt dense. The only thing that I can see that would have an effect would be the coal. =(

The military I didnt mind much, but +10% to infrastructure cost? thats a big leap. I can barely buy 1 infrastructure a day, that will lower it even more.

Location really has no impact on the game, nor does the background color. Im in the Fiji islands, off the northern coast of Australia, if you care to join me there =D I also suggest that you say War is an option. It helps your economy. Saying you will not fight kills your economy, and you cant wage war for like the first few days anyway, so you have nothing to worry about. When you get your account set up, post your name, nation, and resources, and maybe we can trade =D

My vote in for Pengiun - His example is relevant, and he put some effort into it (custom wads, brushes) and it was Hammer based, rather than just Valve based. Good work Pingoo, cant wait to see it up there as teh new logo.
