I added a water_lod_control , fixed the leak and now it compiled.

But, 2 new problems now :

"WARNING: Cluster portals saw into cluster"

And the sky randomly transforms itself in "hall of mirrors" from specific positions in the map ( even though I made a tall skybox ! )

[EDIT] I fixed the problems :) .

Just a question , can you tell me a good blues sky ? ( not totally blue, but with fewer clouds than the default one)

Here I am again , with another problem ( in the mean time, my map got big).

I let it to compile, and it arrived at "Final light face" or something like that.

1
1...
2..
......nothing ...
The compiler stopped working, I checked it in the task manager. Wtf ?

And what's with this ultra-strange errors I've never seen before that takes my mind back to the old leaf-saw-into-leaf ???

Compile log removed

[EDIT] Ok it was a leak(a damn small one, thank pointfile !) but what about the other errors ?

I loved NS, but for whatever reason I have little interest in this one.

We'll see if it's worth it when more footage is released.
I have the opposed feeling, and I think this game will be one of the few bought by me.
If I were to watch the teaser without knowing ns2 is developed on source, I would say it's a new graphic engine.

We are all stupid. Or maybe not, because we can't do nothing about this, only the guys ruling the world.
It's 21th century, and we're still talking about wars on earth. Think about this : aliens exists, and an encounter anywhere in the future is inevitable.

Wars should exist between planets, solar systems( on higher scale, I'm referring). Of course, not now, but in the future. Oh, and developing and testing nuclear weaponry on earth is fucking stupidity.
Nuclear power should only be used in power plants.

Ok. Short : I'm making a garry's mod map using only hl2 resources. That means I can test it in hl2. So I'm making it. I'm compiling it. It has light. But again that stupid effect ... Light is dissapearing and appearing randomly in a building.

And the water doesn't render in game( you can't even "feel" it ! ) and I applied water texture only on the upper face of the solid. The rest of the faces are nodraw textured.

Here's the log. I won't be able to respond until maybe this evening, tomorrow evening or saturday.

Compile log removed

I don't know how this could be a leak when I have lighting ...

Have you guys ever asked yourselves what was before the Big Bang ?
What if our Universe actually has a cycle ? I mean, right now we're expanding. But I suppose gravitation will pull back all the matter intro a big black hole or something, and it will explode again.
And where did the original matter came from ?
That's a question answerable ... only by religion ...

And i do like the dream idea. A lot.
Noooooo not being crushed by a train again !! :death:
Altough, let's say I would have a rather interesting dream to map ... I dreamed the apocalypse somewhere in november or december 2008. But I still remember the dream.
I saw humans being crushed by meteors in fire, "solar winds" destroying their bodies ... I was holding myself to a fence under a tree ... and the final was a happy end : I survived.

I think this would even be the title for my compo if it will be map a dream :
"I survived"

Excuse me. My bad. I forgot a small detail :crowbar:

What I showed you is actualy a tesserect. It's like the cube(3D) to a square(2D) relationship. But the tessarect(4D) is linked to the cube(3D) ...
Ah .. hard to explain :P
and it wasn't on a 3d space, it was represented on a virtually 2D space, and appeared to have 3 dimensions to it, when in fact it only had 2.
You wasted your time writing these lines. That's virtual 3D space yes, so why the hell did you even bothered to argue about that...

Well you can imagine like this ( fast sketch ... mnyeah :P )
User posted image
Bill and Jim are 2D. Bill is outside the house. Jim is in the house. Bill can't see Jim. Jim can't see Bill too. But we can see both of them. That's because we have an extra dimension : the z axis.

Starting from this example we can understand a little more the 4D dimension too.
Let's presume now that Bill and Jim are 3D. Face to face. Bill can't see Jim's back. Jim can't see Bill's back too ! But if we were in 4D, we could see all their body parts at the same time ! Is this right ?

And there's a funny thing too. Each dimension is capable of "reproducing" a higher dimension than it. For example, we can sketch a 3D cube on a paper !

So here's a "sketch" of a 4D cube in 3D space :
User posted image
I heard there are scientists who say there's even a 5th dimension, but I won't go there, I'm not informed.

World Crafter, I said traveling through a wormhole, that is by no means 3D space.
So what it is ? 4D ? ( I know "4D persons" could see in 3D&2D , but us because we're 3D we can't see in 4D only in 2D ... so 4D is something like having a cube and seeing all its 6 faces at the same time)
