As he constantly murders scientists
Dunno how the player would go killing the scientist NPC's.
i considered this option when i used to make OP4 mods, and the appeal wasnt strong.
But if you make the scientists attack, like in Point of View, you may get away with it

I think a ban is in order.
someone rocks the boat and a ban is in order? you guys are silly.

regarding the thread though, i wouldnt be too fussed about short answers. what bothers me in forums is when the user puts huge pictures in their signiture, which ends up taking up way too much space. we dont have that here though, so... thats good.

i never seen it been done, even in the mods like azure sheep and whatever they were either stationary tanks with moving turrets or moving tanks with non functional turrets.

actually wait. there was a bit in... Point of View i think that had a tank on a rotating platform or something that had working turrets

I'll go with this excuse. Yeah the game is VERY tacky around the edges. But it's just so god damn fun and addictive.
you are right. I played fallout 1/2/tactics before i played fallout 3 and i think 3 falls in quite well. if you play the previous titles, you'll get the overall idea of Fallout.
people that try to play it as a straight up action shooter don't like it, but its not meant to be played like that

The .357 actually is longer and more powerful than the 9mm bullet though
still does that same job though right?
i dont know about you, but i doubt i could/would actually shoot someone if i ended up carrying a gun or needing to use it to defend myself or whateve

you guys play way too many computer games with guns in them

in any case, in Australia the only real firearms a citizen can hold is like, single shot rifles and shotgun and you need like a full licence and police check, reason to own one etc etc.
even then, shops arnt allowed to sell flick knifes, knuckle dusters (or weapons like that).
therefore if your in a part of town where you feel like you may be in danger one night, or whatever, then you're simply told to "get over it". incidentally the ammount of assualts arnt very high (unless you live in sydney or melbourne where people allways get knifed at train stations)

having to think you need to carry a weapon (especially a firearm) when you go out onto the streets is a bit paranoid

im mean, why not try martial arts or actual self defence classes if you get that worried.

in any case, the gun laws in North America are just a little bit over the top. the fact that they can have like, assault rifles and stuff in ones house as a way of "protection" from intruders.

i mean, arnt the cops around for that sort of stuff?

also, in reference to "id fight for my life for my possessions": as the old urban survival hand book says "whats more important, your money or life?"

If there's anything you should know, you CAN'T change the past.
theres a theory somewhere that says that if theres multiple choice in a situation, and you pick one of the choices, other "universes" will be created (or branch out) where you picked one of the OTHER choices. if that makes sense

therefore, the theory could suggest, take hitler for example, that other universes were created from things like if he was assasinated or if he won WW2 etc.

(just backing myself up here, this is a theory im putting out there that isnt my opinion or something i exactly belive in, but thought you may find interesting)

I choose to follow the rules of society because I want to be a good person, not because I want to get into heaven. My commandments come from a higher power, sure, but my country elected that higher power through democracy.

NineTnine believes that some people can perform thought-based time travel because he read it in a book.
Know what else he believes in because he read it in a book?
Yeah.
this is an unfair comment
i didnt say i belived that book, i said i read it.

the bible is a completely different kettle of fish then a book on time travel i came across in the library one day.
but I bet a large number of you were brought up in Christian families.
my sister is an atheist, my father is a Buddhist. we share our views openly and listen to each others opinions.
i came to god on my own terms.

edit.
almost a compliment since it means that they have the capability to think for themselves

What flaws do you find in a non-belief system
try this - not believing in something doesnt mean its not real.

for example, if someone says "i wont go to hell because i dont believe in it" doesnt mean that hell isnt real, simply because they dont believe in it

What happens is that a significant amount (so as not to say "all") of religious folks get really pissed off when they beliefs are challenged by simple questions they can't answer, and react violently rather than accepting a civilised discussion.
i am willing to discuss differnt view points, i enjoy hearing peoples ideas on differnt religions and theorys and I enjoy telling people about the ideas i believe in.

what do not like is when people go ahead and put down and insult my beliefs simply because its not "logical" or i don't have precise answers for them.
i am glad that i can agree to disagree though, we are entiltled to our opinions, no matter how bizare we may think the other persons opinions are.

Most people who Attempt Time Travel get very injured or Killed
i read a book in the library about meditation which leads to time travel, ages ago. it said you can time travel with your mind, but only few experienced people can time travel physically though its dangerous, because your body can get lost in space/time in the transition.

thats what the book said, anyway

christian ideas.

in refference to:

"What do you know about interpreting the bible? Did god himself tell you how to do it?"

partly yes.

i think ive finished with this debate, because atheists are allways too willing to pick holes in christian ideas and beat my creation/science opinions down to a pulp.

so.. The Hunter says the big bang is 100% real.
Madcow says its not proven.

weird.
Believers believe in God, but only select parts of the bible which suit them.
as i said..... not everyone know the difference between the old and new testimate
Posted 13 years ago2011-07-10 22:26:26 UTC
in Deep thinking Post #296458
scientists say god doesnt exist because "how can you belive something you cant see" but they believe the big bang, which is also silly because no one has ever witnessed a big bang, nor is there 100% proof.

what alot of people fail to realise is that evolution is also a theory.

atheists say the bible contradicts itself and they can "proove" this by quoting from the old testimate, because they have no idea how to read the bible, and they dont know that we're living in the new testimate which is completly different from old testimate.

therfore, atheists suck at interpreting the bible.

annnnd here goes another 'creation vs science' thread........

^ Jeffy has it pretty spot on.

if you want the zombie to just keep eating, all you need is the zombie entity and the scripted_sequence thing. name the zombie then in the scripted_sequence put the animation in the "idle animation" set the target to the zombie (ie - put its name in the thing) then set the sequence to "imediate" then i think, if you attack it, it should get up and behave normally. i think.

i used to have that problem (getting an idle animation). just make sure to hit the "immediently" tag thingy in the proppertys of the scripted_sequence so you dont have to worry about triggers. well, this works when mapping for original HL anyway...
