Found in Korn songs. If you can call this a song. Same goes for Sepultura and Jhon Davis (the vocals of Korn) the only thing you can understand is 'look at me, look at you and look away', altought the song's got about 2mins of texts...

Uhm... When I saw 120 replies I thought 'Wow! These guys have lived tru many masty situations!' But it seems like half of the posts are off topic. Anyway, heres my story:

-Once two friends in the school room where running around and I put my leg in the path of the first. He felt on his knees then slid towards the wall and the impact made a hole in his head right above the eyebrows. It was about 3cm long and 0.5cm wide. The very same day we played with friends in the snow, wich was knee deep. We were iceball fighting and someone trew quite a big one at me. I tried to run and sudennly trip on a stone below the snow and fell with my left hand on a broken jar. When I stood up I saw my friends looking at me wiredly. Then I felt slight warminmg in my hand and when looked at it I saw and opening in it the size of the return key on my k.b. with triangular shape. Pieces of flesh were hanging on a small piece of skin, my bones revealed and my blood coming out like a fountain. Untill I got back home and to the hospital I lost so much blood that I lost councuscines. Hopefully I had just finished reading "Surviving Techniques" and I put my hand on the right spot to prevent the bleeding from killing me. I was 11 that time and since then I believe in retribution.

-One year, when my dads yacht was on dry dock I was going down the ladder (wich was about 3m high) I missed the first step. And then I lost my memmory! Could you belive it? The whole place became pitch black and I felt like I'm asleep and I woke when I landed on the groud on my back. A fewseconds later I was thinking 'Were the hell am I?' and stuff like that. Luckilly my memmory was revieved few minutes later and even remembered to fetch the mirror wich I came down for. Later I was told that I was in the condition known from the Matrix - your brain and body switches to extreme mode and the adrenaline is pumped in your blood. But I was too young (12 I think, I can't remember right... ) and the adrenaline rush stunned my. Atleast I didn't felt any pain.

-Just a few days ago a guy came out of the sea and he was all in blood. The poor bastard was headfirst jumping the water from a surface rock where the depth is about 2.5-3m and landed on the only subsurface rock (about 20cm under the surface). Can you imagine what his face was looking like? You can't even guess, cause his face wasn't there... Just his eyes, nose bones and large chunks of flesh hanging and he held all this in his hand. He was all covered in blood, the lifeguards aided their help just before the guy became unconcisnues. Horrible view. Ifelt like I'm looking at a DooM4 (yes, the next generation) screen. Augh, nasty. You can look at the 'When you've been mapping to long' topic for the whole story.

-Just the day before yesterday the father of my friend slip on a rock covered with algium and hit anither rock with his toe. The result was his toenail 90 degree toward the toe and constant bleeding for 3 days (it kept bleeding until today). Strangely, he refused to go to hospital-he said that he's got phobia of hospitals

The one I posted at the 'You've been mapping too much when...' thread. Altough I'm quite uncertain if the guy died (since lifeguards came to aid him immediately) but having chunks of your face rest at your hand while your nose and theeth are bleeding to death is...just...plain nasty. I felt extrmly bad by just looking at this...

The voltigores (these big guys in Op4, that exploded when killed) are just plain cool.

And the name Pit Drone comes from Op4.

You come home and you see your wife in the bed. You start looking for her lover and finaly when you can't find him you die cause of anger. Once in Heaven (or Hell, wichever you prefer) you meet someone. He asks you how you died? and you tell him the story. Then he says "If you had checked the refrigator we would both be still alive"...

Nasty for either of them.

And I think you should read what happened to me just a few days ago.

You probably have to lay off mapping for a while when this happens to you:

I'm at the docks on my dad's yacht. It's nice, there just a fwe yachts in the water and we're still on dry dock. The breeze cools me off nicely and on a neighbouring yacht there's a pretty girl (pretty young one, but still beautyfull). The only thing that's breaking the whole picture is the huge building with even bigger sign on it saying "Border Police". It seems pretty empty (and probably hounted).

Day by day this place seems more scary - once while I was walking round the park I found a nose where a white building was build and a twin (double barreled!!!) machinegun was set up. The sign on the fence said "Militiary Zone. Keep off". Some friends of my said that people there first shoot, then shoot again and if there's anyone left they bring him in for questioning. And not just this but every few days a militiary ship (known here as GRIFF) comes by and anoyess us with sirens.

Things where starting to come down when I saw him (no, not the G-man...yet) - Gordon Freeman swam next to me!!! When I saw him I thought: "Damn, this guy needs just a pair of glasses and he'll be absolut copy!" It appers that he could read minds, cause after he came out of the water he put a pair of glasses on - he was Gordon himself...

Some wired things started happening right after - on the next day a guy came out of the water right infront of me an I noticed that his face is missing (or wathever was left was too bloody to be seen) and chunks of his flesh were hanging down and he held them with his arm. You just can't imagine what I felt when I saw him...

Later I heard that the last night multiple UFO sighting were reported by more than 20 people at once. The day after a super luxury patrol ship came by the dock and the whole command of the local militiary depot came to hear the report. I'm not sure, but I think someone remained at the base when the ship left the dock. I saw him just merely - his suit eas blue...

And I can asure you that every piece of this story is true and if I don't come back know that I've found and taken by Them...

Seems like you don't really look trough details while you play. Remember the momment of Op4 right before the old rail systems? In one room there was a large framed photo of Freeman with text below it saying "Employee of the month"! Just don't tell me that you could win this prize by working just a few days. And I'm not sure of this, but I think I saw a picture of some baby in Gordons locker. Therefor he has a family (unless I saw it in a diffirent locker or this is a picture of Gordon as a baby). Remember the G-man watching you at the Boot Camp of Op4? And the 'mysterious' pop of Shepard's name on top of the advanced training list? Here's my theory: the G-man needs someone to do some work for him and he chooses two people - Gordon and Adrian. He puts them both to tests (that's why Shepard is send to BM while he's still a rockie (despite of being a corporal he's still among the recon teams)) and Freeman proves to be the better one. But being pretty wise the G-man decides to preserve Shepard for just in case Freeman fails and the work still needs someone to do it.

And something for the Nihilanth - the sci-team says "We believe that the portal is created by the imense concentration of a single powerfull being. You will know it, when you see it. And when you find it, I'm afraid to say it, but you'll have to kill it...". Wich roughtly translates "Nihilanth is simply the teleporter device of the Xen race and someone else is the actual leader" and adds something mysterious - "...I'm afraid to say it..." means the Nihilanth had a good use for the scientosts but things just didn't worked out as planned.

The www.photobucket.com is great. 150MB and hotlinking. I was gonna hyperlink it, but it's been a long time and I forgot how to do so. And, yeah, the laughting cat is just...dumb?

just 110 days. But I can't remember how long I've been mapping. It's all pretty...blurry...

From HL I enjoy mostly 'Questionable Ethics' and 'Surface Tension'. Sometimes I start playing the game over again just to reach these two chapters. And when I reach 'Forget about Freeman' I just restart...

The whole Op4 is very enjoyable, cause it has many surface areas. The Biodome labs are very nice, especially these observation areas.

When you map long enought you'll be in the condition to drown anything. Even yourself...

I feel good, since I'm (finaly) at the sea coast. It's quite cloude now, but I hope it'll clear in a few days.

If someone can create a realistic nuclear explosion with HL's engine he'll be rated by me 'The Best sprite setup-er'. It's not as easy as it sounds, cause you have to include fades, sounds, some trains maybe (for the nuke falling or a B2 bomber maybe...) and probably more than a single user-made sprite. Go ahead and try it.

Today I played Lode Runner 2 and guess what I've found in the High Scores - there was an entry called G-Man! Now I feel kinda wired. The G-Man is watching us, he's everywhere...

You have to try it, very annoying when youre out of hornets and there 3 agrunts in the room with you. But kinda increases the action element and when you've finished the game countless times it gives a new feeling. I also use the basic Glock thruout the entire game, since it's much more accurate than the MP5 and saves the ammo. MP5 for GL only and shoutgun for short distances. I keep the gauss for apaches and ospreys and it could be very usefull for the Nihilanth. Once the Hornet has got rid of the healing balls just a single (not even fully charged) blast kills him instantly.

When you type in % in your nickname it comes out as a space. You can use spaces only in the Coustomize screen. When ingame and you type something with space it comes out until the first space. Annoying. Have to ues % instead.

Ofcousre I destryoed the crystals first, I thought it's so routine and everyone knows it. And, btw, once I discover the Hornet I use almost no other weapons. So I finish the whole Xen campaign and most of the 'Lambda Core' only woth the Hornet and a crossbow. I'm so worried of ammo shortages, it's almost like a paranoiah. I guess I was going to go crowbar only if there was no hornet gun...

My first idea ever was an underwater base with some submarines. When I realised I that I can't bind ents together I decided to abort it. Then I started makng a CS map. It was almost finished. Something like a mesa with deep pit in the middle with a river flowing. Between the two cliff were a narrow bridge and in it's both ends fortress-like stone towers with room for snipers. Never completed it also.

The first map I've ever finished is in the example vault. Posted under the name of PhutureTech, not PTS. I've been mapping for more than two years but never completed a map, cause when I start mapping a great idea another grandious project appears in my mind and I leave the first concept... So I'm trying to make short maps. With something good enought included to make 'em more than a simple room with some stuff in it.

Have you thought of using Spirit for that one?? You have to use it, cause you're going to have great trouble making these planets. While in Spirit you can use the UT sky and some cool fx for the collision and the crafts.

In a really hot summer here you can fry eggs on the asphalt. It's like 45deg under shadow and the asphalt gest sticky and soft. While in a really cold winter you can brake aluminium like chpis! But such temperatures weren't reached from about 4 years. Yesterday there was a very strong storm and the air raid siren were activated. Violent lightnings...

I've beaten the Nihilanth with only a hornet gun. Just jump on the lowest platform and then shoot him with the alt-fire. Soon his healing balls will start dissapearing and when he's got none his head is constantly open and he shoots only a single elcertyball a time and no ports anymore. And the teleporters can be killed with the alt-fire of the hornet as well.

The G-Man isn't that bad... he's simply doing his work as well as the marines. He actually helps you a couple of times in Opposing Force. Until you've played Op4 you can't see the real deal in this aline invasion stuff. From the eyes of a marine, thinking he's hunting Freeman, but actually being hunted by Gordon... and finally 'preserved' by the G-Man. Does anyone knows if there will be an Op4 sequel?? I WANT TO LEAVE THAT OSPREY!!!
