um you sure the whole thing is set up to lead to steam?? It seems like your trying to run a steam game through 1.5 maybe?

well i think this might be a common problem with other mod makers and if anyone else has it speak up ;). But picture this...you spend 18 hours making quite a large map...sorta the size of 2fort or dust or somethin. then at the end you put in a sky around the area and put a light_environment entity in the middle of the map in the air. then (having ZHLT compile tools) you compile it. you look at the grey screen and wait a while...then you notice that it says leaf thread....(15 mins and 1 curse later) still the same...(30 mins after that and 1 coke 2 curses later)...same (1 hour 3 cokes and 18 curses later) then you give up and start a new map....or delete the sky and light.(note works without the sky and light...) oh yeh and while its compiling your mouse can hardly move accross the screen....lag :x :confused:

Ok basically im making a mod that consists of a shopping mall...
It has cool things in it but i was wondering if (for my restaurant) i could make sorta bottles that were func_breakable and func_moveable...
Also is it possible to make an area that sort of sways...say i had a giant glass ball hanging from the ceiling with ropes (bombsite ;) ) is it possible to make the ball sway when you stand on it? and how?

no it is happening to everyone it happened to me and 5 friends and ours have been working fine for about a few years now...just click cancel and continue on to join a game. ;)

well no bots join...if you type addbot or anything and it says couldnt load tracker.dll and i have no bloody clue what that is because i only get 4 files when i install...chang_log, foxbot documentation,Readme,Foxbot.dll. I have set up the .gam file to go "...FoxbotFoxbot.dll" so it should work right??? anyone know why this tracker thing isnt working?

well I downloaded foxbot ((latest version)) to use with my team fortress which is 1.5 :) but problem is i dont know which folder to put the dl in and theres nothing to actually RUN IT!!!! basically i have it in tfc folder and have read the guides but when i start up my mod all i should have to do is say "Addbot" in the console :o guess what??? nothing happens :| i really wanted to use this thing anyone help me....(foxbot/google didnt help)

hehe i think all tutorials for 3d's max are on nwn sites try searching nwn+3d's max should get heaps..... :) some tell of how to get them working in nwn i think its the same with half life tho i haven't had 3d's max long ;) hope this helps

ok I have read heaps of TFC tutorials so DONT say read a tutorial i want an answer lol. When you start up you know those armour medkit and back packs that are on the floor? well i have them setup ((info_tfgoal)) but where can you set them to look like something. When i start my game theyre invis ;) its funny :)

woo thanx guys thats exactly what i was saying... I also got a way from a friend he said press F9 then click dont run game and compile it then go into team fortress and run a lan game / create one it should be on the list :) but all of yours work and i got this version after yours ;)
