You cannot convert metric units to units in Worldcraft, or Hammer as you should be using.

'Pwned' was a common mispelling of 'Owned' if I'm not mistaken. It seems to have stuck now.
Where is it crashing? On loading the map or during gameplay? Are you playing on a server?

You'd probably want a 3D skybox. Consult this tutorial. It should provide you with the answers. Remember when working with a 3D skybox, all scenary in it has to be 1/16th its original size.

As well as Rabid's suggestion, I'd also get rid of that retinal scanner or at least retexture it. Apart from that, nice work.

I'd have to agree with RacerX.
Be warned, the files that are produced are insanely massive. I made a ten minute HL2 vid with no sound and that was over 2 gigs.
