in Decal help Post #53735
Hello,

When I insert a decal on a brush it shows up on the 3d camera and the compiling is fine. But when I load the map in the game it doesn't show up. I'm sorry but I don't understanding the tut.

Thank you in advance.

in No filling in Hull Problem Post #50532
Hello,

I decided to try mapping for dod. Everthing was going fine until I encounterd an error message when compiling. I am using Valve hammer editor and zoner tools. I been looking for the solution for this error for a while and can't seem to find it. Here's the compling log:

The command failed. Windows reported the error:
"The system cannot find the file specified."

end

The error seems to occur at the VIS stage with "Error: Portal file 'c:sierravalve hammer editormapsmap1.prt' does not exist, cannot vis the map" .

Did I put the save in the wrong spot? I followed steam tutorial. How do I fix this? It's probably something simple. I feel like a nub dumbass. :(
