I personally don't like the idea of super powers. The countries should govern themselves and not other countries. I also believe that the developement of super powers in the world is inevitable and such powers should be divided again to redistribute power in a just and less dangerous way. No country should ever be able to take over the world. If I were Prime Minister (I am Canadian), as soon as Bush sent troops into Iraq I would have sent troops in to stop them. He had no right in my mind to go into that country.

Do we have any texture guys here? I'm looking for someone to do up some textures for a map I will be doing once my computer is back up and running. Anyone who does that sort of stuff, contact me, I'm not so hot when it comes to texturing. Thanks bros. Please post link to screenies or examples your work.

creative use of func_rotatings, func_trains, etc. can get you some pretty cool machinery and stuff. It's all about creativity and gameplay, which is sometimes ignored. It's always good to think about a map and do it out on paper before you actually do it. Poor gameplay ruins a map, no matter how pretty it is. For replacing crates, use barrels, cars, etc. anything that'll break or blow up. Some stuff like that should be indestructible though, it's good to have some decent cover.

Yes, obese people, it's their own problem... but I don't want to hear uber fat chicks complaining when I won't date them. I don't want girls that are bone thin either. It's not because of how they look as much as I can't respect someone that can't take care of their own body properly.

He's too retarded to be president. And, when it comes to stereotyping, I hate to say it but, well, though I'm sure many americans aren't fat, aren't stupid, the stupid and fat ones are very prevalent. Obesity is disgusting (I also hate when it is spelled wrong), people need to get all their fat asses and exercise. Sure, I spend hours in front of my computer, but I also get enough exercise. I wish people wouldn't make excuses, and be all, "I get tired" or "my back...". Frankly, unless you have some uber serious injury there are types of exercises you can do. Anyway, I'm from Canada and I got down to the states at least once a year and it makes me happy I live in Canada. I'm not saying Canada is perfect, or doesn't have obese people or anything,it's just that we are less... hmm... extreme. We're definetly still following in or so called big brother's footsteps. Well, I just think it's fairly obvious that american T.V. is aimed at morons. It's not much better up here, since we still get much of the same stuff, but I much prefer Canadian news to American. Well, my ranting will keep going if I don't stop, so, to everyone:

Duh, you'll have to stick to two diff compos, HL and HL2 until HL2 picks up (along with the average speed of peoples computers). Personally I'd stay with HL1 for a bit, wait till people really start using it to it's full extent. Oh and hurry up with the next compo... I've just joined up here and am looking forward to winning.

Well... not literally, but, it's making me mad. Here's what I think should be fixed:

-First of all, all mods should have their particular tags (the little "hl" and "cs" beside the name of the map) you guys need hl2, ts, op4, sven and the list goes on. That is the first thing. It is also the only one that really matters to me.

-I also found it annoying that there is no next page button at the bottom of the page, so I have to scroll up.

That's just a minor ease of use thing but the first one makes it hard to find mod specific maps (unless I've missed something). Please tell me If I'm being a moron or if the is frustrating to you guys too.
