SD =better detail or something like that I think.
Playing the ps2 version again (I have both) I notice some parts of some of the levels seem to have been removed.
Also the SD thing improve the retinal scanner`s ammination (the scanner not the monster useing it).

for up go to "Picth Yaw roll (Y Z X)" on your doors properties and make it "-90 0 0" for up and for down do the same but don`t put the " - " in.
you could also use the drop down bar below the compos and serlect up or down. :)

That is a larst resort as the amminations can only be up to +9...
And that is not ramdom.And I have made the texture (along with lots of others) for the meter but not aminated or with the pointer.
And jump ramdomly.No.Since when could a pointer move 20 cm instantly?

Why r u useing cached.wad and gfx.wad .It says in the setup Guide that comes with hammer not to use those.
Also the compile tools you should use are hlvis hlrad hlbsp hlcsg.
you are useing qcsg qbsp vis hlrad.

opps sry.The ones I checked where bad ones.(the last color was blue:0 green:0 red:5 so it looks almost black).but I still don`t under stand the background color.I know that blue:255 red:0 green:0 is for textures that u can only see the parts that are not blue.But what is the difference between white and black backgrounds?

Is it possible to make an object move between 2 points but not always going all the way to the end and haveing a ramdom speed between 2 and 6.
It is for a power meter that shows how much power the generater is makeing but I don`t want the meter to show a contant amount or 2 have a pattern. :)

no.I am makeing a HL/Spirit map that inculdes a train track ,station ,goods yard and so on.But as I said , due to the size of the train the map is to small to move.But I want it to look like a real train.But I do not know how to make the bit that lets u walk between the carriages without getting off the train then back on.
