Racing games just got old eventually, failing to bring anything new but better graphics.

As for Fuel, it looks fairly impressive graphically in the newer videos, however the earlier media showed otherwise. Can't say I'm too disappointed with it being a driving game - the large areas, etc. should make way for some interesting races.

I'm guessing it should take one hell of a computer to render areas that vast in realtime, so I'm guessing the requirements won't be too pleasing.

So yeah, I'll probably give this a try provided my PC can run it.

That wouldn't make anything better. They would most likely be very subjective.
Why not be like Texas and just sort out all the trash? After all, no one can be even partially responsible for another person's crime, right?
I'm having a hard time getting what you're trying to say here. Sure, they're mentally ill people pushed by the loads of various negative factors in their lives, but that does not mean they can't be held guilty or even hated for the horrible things they've commited.

Also, any lack of compassion from the people in their environment can not come without a reason. One does not get cast out for nothing and being unable to change/cope with that does not let you do the stuff they did.

Jaguar? You'd be fighting for the survival of not only yourself but also your pack/family far more than any average joe.

As for the whole world peace thing, it's plain utopic. The current system heavily depends on wars, others' misery, etc. In a way, the bad stuff is what helps your parents put the food in your plate, whether you like it or not. The best you can do is adjust and try be least of an asshole to others while properly supporting the ones you love/the ones who love you.

Also, that design doesn't resemble an exoskeleton by a long shot. It's just lumps of plastic embedded in a wool sweater.

On a more serious note, I hear the main trouble in all this exoskeleton business is proving to the absence of an efficient long-life energy source. So far, we may have the iron, yet no way of keeping it powered for an extended amount of time in the field.

Well now, thanks for a proper explanation. :)

The map itself, however, seems to be in an extremely poor visual state at the moment. Combined with the at best average quality of your previous maps, personally that wouldn't be enough to get me interested. Also, 200-300 eu is quite a sum for a simple texture job. The map doesn't seem too complex - it's pretty weird you're giving away that much.

Anywho, good luck with finding the man for your job.

EDIT: And is that srry's Honda prefab you're using?

To be honest, your post sounds like it's been taken out of some spam email promising $$$ WITH MINIMAL EFFORTS, etc. (minus the engrish & caps).
This is of course not the case, however, you really can't expect people to jump aboard some random project without knowing what it's all about. Stating you're "one hell of a mapper" doesn't help either when your FPSbanana profile(?) shows no submissions or activity. Google doesn't give any evidence of your mapping experience either, which kind of baffles me. After all, wouldn't any sponsor actually find himself a hell of a mapper with something to show?

Anyway, I'm probably misjudging you, however unless you post some of your previous work, give info on who's sponsoring you or what you're working on (a CS map project kept in secret? what could be that important?), I wouldn't expect anyone to help you out.

Wasn't he just trying to stop the then-out of hand argument? Knowing Strider to some extent, I highly doubt he'd have deleted a post of yours just because he was unable to retort.

Furthermore, having a single shoutbox post of yours deleted is enough reason to quit?

I'm not talking about changing your work according to the opinion of 3(?) people who disliked it. Fact of the matter is, most people actually enjoyed The Citizen. The MV rating of TC is a straight 5* for a reason. An 81% rating in MotM backed up with 4 long & detailed reviews is negative? I don't think so.

You quit a community that once highly respected you for the negative opinion of three people on a single piece of your work. What the fuck?

Why would you let some random inconsistently expressed opinion insult you then? Heck, what Trapt said is not even on the MV page, rendering it as meaningless as you want it to be. Making that a big deal of something that small and ragequitting is beyond me.
Also, the way I see it, the majority gave you constructive criticism/positive feedback in the first place (see MV page/MotM reviews).
Any mapper who maps for the fans above themselves is either lying or is a complete ass and is wasting his time pathetically.
What a pathetic timewaste of an ass I am then. I mean really. Making a map/mod for the players?! Why, tis' the silliest thing I've ever heard!

You sure as hell do. Expressing your opinion and discussing it is what communities are all about. In TWHL's case, expressing an opinion on any MV submission is not only authorised, but highly encouraged.
and my comments (although some might be true) can be ignored by the filmmakers
Ignore comments? Like you failed to do?
