i see an option under the game_player_equip's attributes that says "Team Master"

what does that do? i tried expierimenting and couldnt figure it out

no, that doesnt work :( one team can drop their weapons and run into the trigger to recive the other teams weapons

(give each team different weapons)

the manual is to confusing for someone, like me, that is using AMX the first time..
what i really need is someone who knows what there doing to guide me..
i tried google again last night and i got this site.

In blue shift's auto-run menu you will see an install high def packs button! Press it and start the install,all the other stuff are really easy to understand! :)

hey guys, this isnt much of a mapping question, but i really need the CSDM server mod for my map to work, and i cant get it to =(. i ve tried the readme.. and that got me confused, and ive tried google but nothing helped..

could anyone please tell me how to set this in a way my brain can handle?

yeah youve got a point 38 but the terrorists only have knives, and the counter terrorists have smgs. the CTs win if there still alive when the round time runs out ^_^

im trying to use the CSDM mod.. but im having trouble setting it up with dedicated server

im setting up hammer so i can map for counter strike, and ive got everything set but the textures. i dont know where the default textures are to use, so i dont need to make a .WAD every time i want to show someone my map.

can anyone tell me where the default textures are? I have the cd if i need to get them off there. if not where can i download them?

what i want to do is make a wall that you can walk through.. like it looks solid but is almost 2D and intangable- sorry i dont have a flippin clue what they are called.

ok i tried that func_door_rotating.. didnt quite work. seemed to not be there when the map was there or move the to the side instead of trapdoory style movement
(yes i used rotating)

hmm.. i really didnt want to give away my idea but i clipped the bottom off so that it could fall on top of the player when he walked under it and be inside it and when he walks around the box would come with him... sorta like a cartoony disguise =D

is it possible to have like say, a pushable "elavator"? like a crate that falls when you push a button or walk under it, then you are able to push it around? i was thinking that i could set it as func_pushable, group it, then rig it like an elevator.. do you think that would work?

When i add monsters to the map (yes on half life) and i compile, it all seems to work right except when i test the map they arent there :( i came here and found the tutorial on making monsters and all of that i had already done.. i thought there was something i missed.. but there wasnt a thing.. it all looks correct.. but what the hell do i know? please help me on this
