My map compiles fine, clean of errors.. but when i start it up in counter-strike, it stops at Verifying Resources, it doesn't freeze or anything, just stops.. and just stays at Verifying Resources (the loading screen doesnt bar doesnt dissapear), i dont understand what the problem is, any ideas?

is there a tutorial out there that tells you how to understand cordinates.. for example when i get an error and i get the cordinates i have no idea where to look.. i know when u move your mouse around it shows cordinates.. but thats just a 2d view.. i dont understand the 3d view of it..

ok, i have 2 skyboxes.. so far.
anyway, i can see from one level to the other, i've tried numerous things and i cant figure out why its doing this.. i've added null, i've made seperate skybrush's in between the levels and much more.

also, to make it easier to visualize in your head.. this is a surf map.. think of one of your favorite surf level map and being able to see from level to level in game.

theres no errors

i got it to work after compiling like 5 times it worked and the file size was 464 kbs and then i compiled again and it was 20 kbs.. also the time it was 464 kbs it took like 20 seconds to compile compared to 1 second for the 20 kbs file.

my map compiles fine and when i try to play itin counter-strike well the first time i try to play it stops loading at "starting local game server" and it just goes back to the loading screen.. then the second time i try to play the map cs crashes with no errors.. i also saw that the size of the file is 20 kbs when the map is huge and it takes up most of the world.

btw i am compiling with zoners

ok i got to almost the end with no problems but when he used the vertex tool he put a box around what he wanted to move and when i make a box i dont know what to push.. because when i make a box nothing happens.. i think he pushes something because the little dot that he's moving turns red and mine stays yellow.. :zonked:

when i compile hammer stops responding or "freezes" any suggestions? and also my map get an fps of about 60 and i made all my textures (that you can see) at 3, doyou think it might be because of the visibility i set it at?
i set it at 20000.. is that bad? if it is what should it be at?
