Speaking of detail:

I've decided thats it's best to get you floor plan done before addong desks, tables, and other furniture.

Go slow, one floor/room at a time.

Align your textures right when you finish a rooms walls, floor, and ceiling. It seems easier then waiting till your map is done to realign your textures.

Off Topic: What's up with these posted pictures? They all come up with an "X" for me, save one. MuzzleFlash's fourth pic is the only one that I can see in this thread.

Make sure you've changed ALL the names in the second set. I had the same problem with func_doors and func_triggers when copying them. Just scroll through the properties.

If you think that is big then you have never played Trepid's map Skayoo.bsp for TFC, which takes up all the space in hammer.

I just started mapping less then a week ago, (I'm a very fast learner, my SpaceFight map is looking pretty damn good so far, and I've only completed 2 out of four decks for one base (copy and paste for second base). I would say I like the in-hammer compiler, may take longer, but while compiling I can get others things done like house chores.

Thanks Worldcraft Dude. I solved the metamod problem already.

I've downloaded tree and bush prefabs for that area. Thanks for the tip of the optical illusion to get make it look like more distance.

And I figured out the team thing, it's in info_tfdetect, which I just found out I need that entity in all my TFC map for other reasons as well.

Ok so my water was an inch thick. I just figured out that the whole lake has to be a water entity, not just the surface.

And "+set deathmatch 1" did not work, but "+deathmatch 1" did.

I've got some creative ideas for my foliage.

The only problem I have now is how do I disable the team choices for, let say, green and yellow teams, and make it just a two team map?

Now it resarts the map when I die regaurdless, no erros shown in console.

Couple of questions. Note: I'm using Hammer 3.5.

Why is it that when I die in the map I get metamod, adminmod, and foxbot errors and a map reconnect/restart? This does not occur on other maps, just the ones I made. When I only load the tfc.dll I get no errors, no problems. Again, only maps I've made argue with metamod and the rest of the mods.

How do I limit the maps teams? For example, how do I disable yellow and green teams?

What is the best way to make overgrown bushes and other ground foliage to fill an area behind a fence that I'm not allowing players to jump over? I just want some noise back there. I'm thinking of just creating a mural of foliage, with transparent areas.
