No, you can make vehicles for CS 1.6.

They're extreme buggy, though.

It's pretty much the same on both sides.

The reason is dislike Alliance is that 50% of them play fucking midgets. :)

Habbo Hotel is the worst thing ever to come from Finland.

It was called Hotelli Kultakala (Hotel Goldfish) back in the "good" days.

I'm starting a World of Warcraft guild with some mates soon but we need a bit more people for our launch. So, if you live in Europe and have World of Warcraft, throw me a PM. If you don't have it, buy it. :)

The name of the guild is Triumph and we're starting as Horde on some PvP server with a good Horde-Alliance ratio. Our current focus is both in group PvP and PvE, so it's Molten Core if we ever get enough people. Take a look at our current roster here.

And no, this is not a TWHL guild. It's just I know you people and want to see if any of you would be interested.

Oh, and we have an IRC channel. Feel free to join #wow.triumph on Quakenet.

Half-Life is actually based on Quake 1. Only the netcode is from Q2 or something like that.

what's the reason?
"Unlike the other PC versions of Half-Life, Blue Shift is not available through Valve's Steam system. Valve explained that Gearbox customized the Half-Life engine for Blue Shift, which resulted in it being incompatible with Steam"

mustang67: Maybe if you would describe what you're trying to archieve we could help you.

Similair to what compo? The hl1 or the source one? And how do you think we can aply this aspect to modeling, since its not only aimed at hl1/hl2 but modeling in general.
You got me there, but what I meant was something like model a computer or model a face.

Two months... That means I might enter. We'll see. :)

Maybe, but in it's current form it's totally killing the aspect of creativity.

I'd suggest something similiar to the mapping compos.

What's the timeframe of the compo?

I think it's a bad idea to make everyone model the same weapon.

No, Blue-Shift is 100% HL compatible, you could probably map for it if you were sad enough. That is afaik.
There is a SDK.

WinBSP doesn't work with Blue Shift and the original poster already has it.
What do ya mean? It's one of the best available decompilers. :
Decompiling is "not cool". It's considered as stealing other's work. If you need to check some fancy entity setup, use RipEnt.

Besides, Bsp2Map is better. :D

Dune 2(000) was awesome back when it came out but now a days it's just ugly an C&C game with limited features.

On the topic: Dungeon Master is another great game. If you haven't yet, try it out. There are several modernized versions out.

Just fine. Coloured letters are far more informative than fuzzy 16x16 tiles.

Ripped off Slashdot: "Hot on the heels of the announcement of x86 Macs, Apple announced a multi-button mouse, known as the Mighty Mouse. It appears that the entire surface is touch-sensitive, allowing the mouse to be programmed as a single-button, multi-button or scrolling device."

Here's a review. If Apple comes up with a Bluetooth version and proper Windows drivers, I might even consider buying it.

IRC newsflash:
  • The stats page was down for a while but it's now working again.
  • I updated the stats software to the latest version.
  • I might move the stats system to another box because of space limitations.
  • I'm writing a new guide on IRCing, you can have a look at an incompleted version here. It's hosted on my desktop system so it might be unavaible at some point.
Take care!
